Wisdom of the Mountains Tour Choose from two departures: February 20 - 28, 2010 or March 6-14, 2010 Day 1: Meet in Oaxaca and enjoy dinner with your group Day 2: Stroll through the exciting city of Oaxaca, taking in markets, museums, and historic sights. Travel to the ancient Zapotec city of Monte Albán. Day 33: Take a dip at Aguas Hirvientes, visit a local weaver’s cooperative and the oldest tree in the Americas (2,200 years old). Day 44: Travel to the Chayotepec Fair Trade coffee community, with stops and hikes along the way Day 55: Try your hand at coffee harvesting with local families. Spend the evening telling stories and sharing music. Day 6: Start the morning with a refreshing hike and learn about the natural history of the region. Spend the afternoon making tortillas & roasting coffee.
