The Year 6 residential this
year was blessed with fine
weather and a great time was
had by all. Our pictures
show cheerful archers, giant
swingers
and
intrepid
adventurers accepting the
treetop challenge, but the
children
also
climbed,
canoed and went to a
fabulous disco.
Bom dia
Buenos Días
We started our week in Portuguese and finished in Spanish.

Congratulations to…
Heather Armstrong, Emily McAuley and Frankie Hawkes who all danced in a
Feis last weekend and came away with three fabulous cups and 19 medals between
them! Emily came first in the Light jig and the Slip jig, and all three distinguished
themselves with hornpipes, hop jigs and reels.
Dhiraj Sam-Harris, Jayden Thiongo-Marshall and Daniel Brobbey who all took
part in a recent football tournament and all did very well. Jayden and Dhiraj play
for Eldon United, in different age groups, and Daniel plays for Eldon Celtic.
Jayden was player of the match for his team; Daniel’s team lost in the
final on penalties; and Dhiraj’s team won the Berkshire Youth
Development League Cup.
Jesse Eze, who has been awarded his purple belt for karate.
Very well done to all of these children!
Our Beat the Street prize winner for this week is
Riordan Rose of Year 6 . Riordan has amassed
the fantastic total of 2,460 points over the past 8

done!
