Ferry – Standard ferry with basic facilities including snack
bar. Highspeed – Modern, new generation large ships that
cut standard ferry travelling time by 50%. Hydrofoil –
Smaller vessel with aircraft seating, same speed as a
Highspeed ferry. Schedules often change at late notice,
hence our recommendation to book at least 1 night in
Athens before and after island hopping. Ferry tickets are
issued by our local agent on each island for your
next sector of travel.

Unforeseen Events
We regard travel insurance as indispensable. During the
summer, severe wind conditions often disrupt air and sea
travel, sometimes resulting in not being able to depart from
an island as scheduled. Another reason why you must
NEVER attempt to connect ferry services to an onward
flight – always overnight in Athens beforehand. Ferry
schedules are set by the shipping companies therefore any
changes are out of the control of CHAT TOURS.
