Steer the bike to another location. Be gentle while moving the unit as any sharp impact can affect the operation. Maintenance Use a damp cloth to wipe your Elliptical Trainer free from sweat after each use. Monitoring Your Heart Rate To obtain the greatest cardiovascular benefits from your exercise workout, it is important to work within your target heart rate zone. The American Heart Association (AHA) defines this target as 60%-75% percent of your maximum heart rate. Your maximum heart rate may be roughly calculated by subtracting yours age from 220. Your maximum heart rate and aerobic capacity naturally decreases as your age. This may vary from one person to another, but use this number to find your approximate effective target zone. For example, the maximum heart rate for an average 40 year-old is 180 bpm. The target heart rate zone is 60%-75% of 180 or 108-135 bpm. See Fitness Safety on next page. Before beginning your workout, check your normal resting heart rate. Place your fingers lightly against your neck, or against your wrist over the main artery. After finding your pulse, count the number of beats in 10 seconds. Multiply the number of beats by six to determine your pulse rate per minute. We recommend taking your heart rate at these times; at rest, after warming up, during your workout and two minutes into your cool down, to accurately track your progress as it relates to better fitness. During your first several months of exercising, the AHA recommends aiming for the lower part of the target heart rate zone-60%, then gradually progressing up to 75%. According to the AHA, exercising above 75% of your maximum heart rate may be too strenuous unless you are in top physical condition. Exercising below 60% of your maximum will result in minimal cardiovascular conditioning. Check your pulse recovery rate – If your pulse is over 100 bpm five minutes after you stop exercising, or if it’s higher than normal the morning after exercising, your exertion may have been too strenuous for your current fitness level. Rest and reduce the intensity next time. 18 GENERAL INFORMATION FITNESS SAFETY: The target heart rate chart indicates average rate zones for different ages. A variety of different factors (including medication, emotional state, temperature and other conditions) can affect the target heart rate zone that is best for you. Your physician or health care professional can help you determine the exercise intensity that is appropriate for your age and condition. (MHR) = Maximum Heart Rate (THR) = Target Heart Rate 220 – age = maximum heart rate (MHR) MHR x .60 = 60% of your maximum heart rate. MHR x .75 = 75% of your maximum hear rate. For example, if you are 30 years old, your calculations will be as follows: 220 – 30 = 190 190 x .60 = 114 (low end or 60% of MHR) 190 x .75 = 142 (high end or 75% of MHR) 30 year – old (THR) Target Heart Rate would be 114-142. 19 20 Exploded View 21 PART LIST ITEM Q’TY `PART NAME ITEM Q’TY PART NAME 1 1 Main Frame 40 4 40x80mm Arch Foot Cap 2 1 Left Front Handlebar 41 4 25x50mm Square Plug 3 1 Right Front Handlebar 42 2 Snap Cap 4 1 Left Foam Handle 43 2 Bushing Cap 5 1 Right Foam Handle 44 4 Wire Plug 6 2 Roller Tube 45 2 Foot Frame Tube Spacer 7 1 Extension Plate 46 2 32mm Bushing 8 1 Left Connecting 47 2 32mm Bushing (slotted) 9 1 Right Connecting 48 2 Shaft Cap 10 2 Jointer 49 2 Non –Skid Pedal Pad 11 1 Belt Tension Bracket 50 1 Right Bottom Housing 12 1 Console Tube 51 1 Left Bottom Housing 13 1 Left Foot Frame Tube 52 2 Round Cover 14 1 Right Foot Frame Tube 53 2 Disc Cover 15 1 ψ2.8x149.5mm Spring 54 1 Top Arch Cover 16 1 Aluminum Pulley 55 2 Right Roller Cap 17 1 Pulley Axle with Plate 56 2 Left Roller Cap 18 4 #6004 Precise Bearing 57 2 Jointer Cap 19 4 #6003 Precise Bearing 58 2 Foot Frame Right Side Cover 20 6 #6004 Precise Bearing 59 2 Foot Frame Left Side Cover 21 4 #6005 Precise Bearing 60 2 Foam Handle Right Side Cover 22 2 #608 Precise Bearing 61 2 Foam Handle Left Side Cover 23 1 Drive Cable 62 2 Foot Pedal 24 2 Aluminum Tracking Plate 63 2 M10x45L Hex Round Head Screw 25 1 Idle Pulley 64 2 M10x58L Hex Round Head Screw 26 1 ψ8x12.5x4L Spacer 65 2 ψ5/8x47L Hex Round Head Screw 27 2 ψ13.95x10x8L Spacer 66 1 M8x30L Hex Round Head Screw 28 2 Crank 67 2 TP3x8L Screw 29 2 Eyebolt M6x40L 68 24 M6x15L Truss Head Screw 30 1 Eyebolt M6x65L 69 28 TP4x12L Screw 31 2 S-20 Retainer Ring 70 10 TP4x16L Screw (black) 32 1 R22 Reatiner Ring 71 8 TP4x16L Screw (silver) 33 2 Ajustment Channel 72 16 TP4x20L Screw (black) 34 2 POS 10 (M16x2.0t) Bearing 73 3 TP4x25L Screw (black) 35 1 V-Belt 74 2 TP5x10L Screw (black) 36 2 PU Roller 75 4 M6x20L Hex Head Screw 37 2 1” Ball Pulg 76 8 M8x15L Hex Round Head Screw 38 2 Front Handlebar Sleeve 77 2 M8x15L Hex Round Head Screw (Locitite) 39 2 Transporation Wheel 78 1 M8x20L Hex Round Head Screw Arm Arm 22 79 3 M8x60L Hex Round Head Screw 98 4 ψ10x19x2.0t Washer 80 2 M8x90L Hex Round Head Screw 99 4 ψ10x23x1.5t Washer 81 4 M8x95L Hex Round Head Screw 100 2 ψ10x30x1.5t Washer 82 2 M10x1.5x30L Hex Round Head Screw 101 2 ψ16x29x1.5t Washer 83 4 M5x10L Truss Head Screw 102 1 ψ20x30x1.0t Washer 84 1 M20xP1.0x12t Hex Nut 103 5 ψ20x30x2.0t Washer 85 2 M14xP1.5 , R Locknut (Locitite) 104 2 ψ25x30x1.0t Washer 86 2 M6 Hex Nut (black) 105 2 M21 Wave Washer 87 2 M6 Hex Nut (silver) 106 1 Mag Brake 88 4 M6 Nylon Nut (silver) 107 1 Magnet 89 3 M8 Nylon Nut (thin) 108 1 Sensor with Sensor Wire 90 10 M8 Nylon Nut (thick) 109 1 DC Power Cord 91 8 M10 Nylon Nut (thin) 110 1 Gear Box 92 2 3/8”x26mm Acorn Nut 111 1 Gear Box Wire 93 2 M16xP2.0x13t Hex Nut 112 1 Extension Wire 94 2 10mm Cuve Washer 113 2 Hand Pulse Sensor with Wire 95 16 ψ4x20x1.5t Washer 114 2 Hand Pulse Extenion Wire 96 8 ψ6x16x1.0t Washer 115 1 Console 97 26 ψ8x19x1.0t Washer 23
