TOURNAMENT RULES
1. SAFETY is the most important rule.
2. This is a “BUDDY” Team tournament.
3. Choose your own partner or fish alone.
4. No more than two contestants per boat.
5. There will be a 5 fish limit per boat.
6. There will be an 8oz penalty for each dead fish.
7. Only fish measuring 15 inches or more with MOUTH CLOSED will be weighed
EXCEPT FOR SMALLMOUTH WHICH MUST BE 18 inches or more.
8. Golden Rule will be the official board used to measure the fish.
9. Any short fish brought to the official weigh in will result in the loss of that fish and the largest fish.
10. There will be a prior, courtesy measuring board for any questionable fish.
11. Only the following fish will be weighed: Large Mouth, Small Mouth & Spotted Bass.
12. There will be no live bait used or trolling allowed. Fishing must be done with artificial bait.
13. Contestants must check in at the registration table the morning of the tournament.
14. Live wells will be checked by members of the tournament committee prior to tournament launching.
15. There will be no alcoholic beverages consumed during the tournament. Infractions will result in the immediate disqualification of the boat.
16. Late penalty will be the following: 1lb per minute, 15 minutes late will result in losing ALL fish weight. Placards will be given to boats for
identification purposes.
17. Life jackets will be worn and secured anytime the outboard engine is above idle speed.
18. There will be NO OFF-LIMIT AREAS.
19. Prize Money: 1st Place: $3000, 2nd Place: $1000, 3rd Place: $800, 4th Place: $700, 5th Place: $600, 6th Place: $500, 7th Place: $400,
8th Place: $350, 9th Place: $300, 10th Place: $250. In the result of a tie, winner will be determined by the number of fish in stringer,
then by the number of live fish in stringer. After that, money will be combined and split between the tied boats.
20. Any protest must be done in writing within 15 minutes after scales are announced closed.
21. Decisions of the Tournament Director will be final.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
In consideration for receiving permission to participate in events at the FISHING FOR THE FISHER HOUSE
TOURNAMENT (“Tournament), Lick Creek Boat Launch, Dover, TN, on Saturday, April 11, 2015, I hereby release,
waive, discharge and covenant not to sue, and release forever, the Fisher House Foundation, First Command Financial
Services, Inc., First Command Financial Planning, Inc. and First Command Bank, and their officers, servants, agents,
employees, independent contractors, administrators, advisors and agents associated with these organizations
(hereinafter “Releasees”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever, whether
in law or equity, arising out of or relating to any loss, damage or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or
to any property belonging to me, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees, or otherwise, while participating
in the Tournament, or while in, on or upon the premises where the Tournament is being conducted.
The Tournament includes events that involve physical activity and the possibility of physical injury or death to my
person, and damage to my property, including, among others, using and maneuvering a boat, and entering and boating
in deep water.
I am fully aware of risks and hazards connected with being on the premises and participating in the Tournament,
and that there may be risks and hazards unknown to me connected with being on the premises and participating in
the Tournament, and I hereby elect to voluntarily participate in the Tournament, to enter upon the above Tournament
premises and engage in activities knowing that conditions may be hazardous, and that participation in events at the
Tournament may be hazardous or dangerous to me and my property. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any
risks of loss, property damage or personal injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or any loss or damage
to property owned by me, as a result of my being a participant in the Tournament.
I agree to follow all of the SAFETY REQUIREMENTS, RULES, and INSTRUCTIONS of the Tournament Staff. I WILL
NOT CONSUME ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE DURING THE TOURNAMENT. I WILL WEAR A PROPERLY SECURED
CHEST-TYPE COAST-GUARD APPROVED LIFE PRESERVER/JACKET AT ALL TIMES WHILE ENTERING, IN, OR
EXITING A BOAT.
I hereby agree to indemnify and save and hold harmless the Releasees and each of them, from any loss, liability,
damage or costs they may incur due to my participation in the Tournament, whether caused by the negligence of any
or all of the Releasees, or otherwise.
It is my express intent that this Release shall bind the members of my family and spouse, if I am alive, and my heirs,
assigns and personal representative, if I am deceased, and shall be deemed as a Release, Waiver, Discharge and
Covenant Not to Sue the above named Releasees.
In signing this release, I acknowledge and represent that:
I have read the foregoing release, understand it, and sign it voluntarily as my own free act and deed;
No oral representation, statements or inducements, apart from this written agreement, have been made;
I am at least eighteen (18) years of age and fully competent; and
I execute this Release for adequate and complete consideration fully intending to be bound by same.

In addition to all of the above, my child desires to participate in the activities at the Tournament. I have been informed
and fully realize that there are risks and dangers associated with the Tournament’s physical activities that could result
in injury to my child. However, understanding those risks, I knowingly and willingly wish him/her/them to participate
in these physical activities. I represent that I will take all necessary safety precautions thereto. I state that my child/
children is/are in good health, physically fit to engage in such activities and has/have no known medical condition(s)
that could foreseeably jeopardize his/her/their safety during such participation or be aggravated by such participation.
As a condition precedent to my child/children being permitted to participate in such activities, I, on behalf of my child/
children, hereby forever release, acquit, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless, waive, and covenant not to sue the
Fisher House Foundation, First Command, First Command Financial Services, Inc., First Command Financial Planning,
Inc., and First Command Bank, and their officers, servants, agents, employees, independent contractors, administrators
and advisors and agents associated with these organizations (“Releasees”) from all causes of action, whether in law or
equity, to include injury, illness, death, property damage, costs, charges, claims, demands and liabilities of whatever kind,
name or nature in any manner arising out of or in connection with my child’s/children’s participation in the Community
Safety Tournament activities. Since my child/children is/are under the age of 18, I consent to having him/her/them
participate in the Tournament’s activities.
