ADSS/Master/vp il rettore visto il D.P.R. 28 dicembre 2000, n. 445 “Testo unico delle disposizioni legislative e regolamentari in materia di documentazione amministrativa”; vista la legge 7 agosto 1990, n. 241 “Nuove norme in materia di procedimento amministrativo e di diritto d’accesso ai documenti amministrativi” e successive modifiche e integrazioni; visto il Decreto legislativo 30 giugno 2003, n. 196 “Codice in materia di protezione dei dati personali”; visto l’art. 15 della legge 12 novembre 2011, n. 183, “Norme in materia di certificati e dichiarazioni sostitutive”; visto il Decreto legislativo 28 maggio 2012 n. 69 “Modifiche al decreto legislativo 30 giugno 2003, n. 196, recante codice in materia di protezione dei dati personali in attuazione delle direttive 2009/136/CE, in materia di trattamento dei dati personali e tutela della vita privata nel settore delle comunicazioni elettroniche, e 2009/140/CE in materia di reti e servizi di comunicazione elettronica e del regolamento (CE) n. 2006/2004 sulla cooperazione tra le autorità nazionali responsabili dell'esecuzione della normativa a tutela dei consumatori”; visto il D.M. 22 ottobre 2004, n. 270 “Modifiche al regolamento recante norme concernenti l’autonomia didattica degli atenei approvato con decreto del Ministro dell’università e della ricerca scientifica e tecnologica 3 novembre 1999, n. 509”; vista la nota prot. n. 17188 del 13 novembre 2009 "Ministero dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca Dipartimento per l’istruzione- Direzione generale per il personale scolastico- Ufficio III" sulla compatibilità tra corsi universitari; vista la nota M.I.U.R. prot. n. 703 del 14 aprile 2003, riguardante la contemporanea iscrizione ad un corso di laurea e ad un master universitario; viste le disposizioni M.I.U.R. prot. n. 602 del 18 maggio 2011, aventi ad oggetto le immatricolazioni degli studenti stranieri e comunitari presso le Università italiane statali e non statali autorizzate a rilasciare titoli aventi valore legale; visto lo statuto dell’Università IUAV di Venezia, ed in particolare l’articolo 10; visto Il Regolamento didattico di Ateneo emanato con decreto rettorale del 20 maggio 2009, n. 458; visto il Regolamento interno in materia di corsi di formazione finalizzata e permanente, dei corsi per master universitari di primo e di secondo livello e dei master di alto apprendistato emanato con decreto rettorale del 27 marzo 2013, n. 216 e modificato con decreto rettorale 11 febbraio 2016, n. 49; vista l’approvazione dell’offerta master e corsi di perfezionamento IUAV a.a. 2016/2017 per le rispettive competenze - del Senato Accademico del 21 febbraio 2017 e del Consiglio di Amministrazione del 22 febbraio 2017; considerata la necessità di definire i tempi e le modalità di accesso ai singoli corsi; sentito il responsabile scientifico del master, Prof. Jorge Lobos; decreta ART. 1 - POSITIONS AVAILABLE 1. The procedure for the admission to the Master Iuav in EMERGENCY & RESILIENCE nd Project Strategies & Innovation in Humanitarian Emergencies, Iuav postgraduate 2 level course, of a.y. 2017/2018 - is open. The master course is designed for being attended by a maximum number of 15 students, including positions for non-EU candidates residing abroad. Others admission requests will be evaluate by the special committee. 2. This academic “Bando” is a notification to all the effects. Any changes, updates or additions to the content of this call will be announced, exclusively, with the publication on the website of the University Iuav of Venice: http://www.iuav.it/Didattica1/master/ ART. 2 - EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES AND DIDACTIC STRUCTURE 1. The Master Iuav in EMERGENCY & RESILIENCE - Project Strategies & Innovation nd in Humanitarian Emergencies is a postgraduate 2 level course with the aim of improving a professional response in dramatic, vulnerable situations in order to strength resilience of society. The postgraduate course intends to give a more effective response in the field of humanitarian emergencies, in natural disasters, climate changes and man-made conflicts. In this field, international organizations and national governments demand better architecture and planning solutions because a better architectural response can solve several future social problems and decrease the economic and social investment in emergency relief for future catastrophes. The postgraduate course aims to create a professional profile with high skills in the field of humanitarian emergencies with focus in: physical planning, architecture creativity, technical innovation, cultural understanding and social capacities to work with local communities, governments and different professionals in an interdisciplinary frame. 2. The postgraduate programme (60 ECTS) consists of four core modules (15 ECTS / module) including a final module consisting in a period of internship for final thesis production. Course participants must fulfil a minimum of 70% of the whole course in order to obtain the final degree. Courses are main taught in English. 3. At the end of all the activities, Università IUAV di Venezia will issue a postgraduate course diploma (2nd level) to the students who have fulfilled the compulsory attendance and passed the final thesis discussion. 4. Detailed information on the postgraduate course may be found on the following website: http://www.iuav.it/master ART. 3 - ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 1. To be admitted to the postgraduate course, it is necessary to have one of the following qualifications: a) Italian master’s degrees laurea magistrale in LM-4 Architecture, LM-88 Social Sciences, LM-89 Art, LM-78 Philosophy, LM-23 Engineering, LM-12 Design, LM-80 Geography, or equivalent degree, awarded according to D.M. 270/2004 or defined under the former regulatory framework; b) Italian qualification equivalent to a master’s degree as laurea in Architecture, Social Sciences, Art, Philosophy, Engineering, Design, Geography, or equivalent degree, awarded according to the didactic Italian National regulations established before D.M. 509/1999; c) Master’s degree in Architecture, Social Sciences, Art, Philosophy, Engineering, Design, Geography, or equivalent degree, obtained out of Italy (five years University education), that the didactic committee (see art. 5) will consider equivalent to one of the above mentioned qualifications, only to be admitted to the postgraduate course. Other 2nd level degrees or equivalent qualifications, which are different from the above listed ones, will be considered and evaluated by the didactic committee. 2. It is possible to be admitted also if candidates are not yet in possession of the qualifications required for admission, but candidates must gain the final degree in a previous academic year to which the postgraduate course belongs. 3. Candidates having a foreign qualification equivalent for duration and content to the Italian degree courses required for the access to the postgraduate course can apply for admission. In any case, the final decision referring to the admission is in charge of the special committee and after passing the selection. It is clarified that: a) candidates must provide official certified copy of academic degree(s) in original language and provide official translation into Italian language, of the qualification obtain, with the declaration of value issued by the competent Italian Embassy in the country where the institution which issued the qualification is located; official transcript of records in original language and translate in English or Italian. These documents are mandatory for enrolling to the postgraduate course. Candidates must present all these documents in their original form at the moment of the enrollment to the postgraduate course, that is within the deadline established for the enrollment, after the results and the publication of the list of admissions to the postgraduate course decided the special committee. 4. To be eligible it is necessary a good knowledge of English language. ART. 4 - PRE-ENROLLMENT AND SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO THE POSTGRADUATE COURSE 1. EU candidates and non-EU residents in Italy and abroad who wish to apply for admission to the postgraduate course shall: a) apply for pre-enrolment on Iuav internet webpage http://iuav.esse3.cineca.it/Start.do carefully filling each field (visit the following web page for the details for registration http://www.iuav.it/Didattica1/master/) b) pay € 50 of admission fee. 2. Pre-enrolment must be completely exclusively: within June 30th, 2017 for non-EU candidates residing abroad, choosing the call for admission “Master Iuav in EMERGENCY & RESILIENCE - Project Strategies & Innovation in Humanitarian Emergencies” within September 1st, 2017 for EU candidates and non-EU candidates residing in Italy, choosing the call for admission “Master Iuav in EMERGENCY & RESILIENCE - Project Strategies & Innovation in Humanitarian Emergencies” 3. Candidates must upload the following documents to the online application (max 5 MB for each file): a) European curriculum vitae (max 2 pages) b) letter of motivation for the enrolment in the master (max 1 page) c) portfolio with personal projects (only for architects, designer, urban designer and planner) d) at least two contacts of relevant persons in your profession, indicating full name, title, position, email and telephone number e) a copy of a valid identity document. In addition, for candidates with foreign qualifications are valid the provisions of art. 3 part 3; hence they must present the following documents: f) certified copy of academic degree(s) in original language, stating the final classification obtained (university degrees and others - do not send high school diploma) (PDF format preferred).The title must be translate in Italian language and legalized in an Italian Embassy in your country, with the declaration of value; g) certified copy of academic transcript(s) in original language and translated into English or Italian or Spanish, listing the grade/rank/mark of each discipline/subject attended to obtain each degree (university degrees and others - do not send high school diploma) (PDF format preferred). Candidates non-EU citizens resident abroad can’t use the self-certification and must be in possession of an entry visa for study purposes following the MIUR (that is, Ministero dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca) disposition of 18th May 2011 upon arrival in Italy. 5. Iuav University of Venice may make appropriate verifications as reported in the selfcertification. Without prejudice to the penalties provided for in art. 76 of Presidential Decree 445/2000 about false statements, in case information data do not correspond to truth, this misuse of false acts will lead to an automatic exclusion from the selection. 6. To be eligible for the selection, candidates must necessarily pre-enroll on the Internet webpage and pay € 50 of admission fee. ART. 5 - EVALUATION OF THE QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ADMISSION 1. The special committee is composed by: - prof. Jorge Lobos - prof. Benno Albrecht - prof. Wesam Asali which will assess the academic, educational, scientific and professional qualifications and documents submitted by the candidates in order to develop the admission list, one for EU candidates and non-EU residents in Italy, and another one for non-EU candidates residing abroad. 2. The criteria for the evaluation of qualifications and the scores will be determined by the special committee, which will record their decision in the minutes. In case one or more candidates present the same score, in the list the youngest candidate will precede the others. 3. The committee will forward to Area Didattica e Servizi agli Studenti – Servizio Master the list of candidates for the adoption of the relevant administrative measures. ART. 6 - PUBLICATION OF THE LIST AND ENROLMENT 1. The results of the selection and the first list of admission to the postgraduate course will be published on the Università Iuav di Venezia’s website, from July 11th, 2017; instead, the second one will be published from September 12th, 2017 on the Università Iuav di Venezia’s website. 2. The candidates on the list in a position allowing their admission must enroll within September 21st, 2017 by connecting to the website of Iuav University http://iuav.esse3.cineca.it/Start.do in order to fill the online format, and to complete the enrolment with the Servizio Master by sending an e-mail to [email protected] uploading: the signed registration form (that is “Domanda di immatricolazione”) downloaded from the website; a valid ID document; the receipt of the first tranche of the paid application fee of € 3.000 The non-EU candidates residing abroad must submit, in addition to the documentation mentioned above: the Code for the Protection of Personal Data (or tax code; in Italian “codice fiscale”) obtained by presenting the form available on the web site www.agenziaentrate.it - that can be submitted to any Revenue Agency office, in person or through a delegate, or to the Italian diplomatic or consular representation in their country of residence; their qualification degree translate into Italian with the declaration of value issued by the competent Italian Embassy in the country where the institution which issued the qualification is located. It is clarified that these documents must present in their original form at the Servizio Master. 3. The enrolment fee to enter to the Master Iuav in EMERGENCY & RESILIENCE - Project Strategies & Innovation in Humanitarian Emergencies correspond to € 6.000 plus € 16, excluding postal service or bank additional fees. 4. For academic year 2017-18, candidates can paid the whole amount of the fee in two different tranche of 50% each one as follows: - First tranche must paid within the expiration date for enrolling to the course; - Second tranche must paid within 3 months from enrolment to the course. 5. The enrolment can be paid as follows: a) EU candidates and non-EU residents in Italy must to pay the enrolment fee through MAV payment that is automatically develop together with the registration form (that is “Domanda di immatricolazione”) downloaded from the website; b) The non-EU candidates residing abroad must pay the enrolment fee through the following Iuav bank account: - banca cassiere dell’Università Iuav di Venezia / bank name: Banco Popolare - sede / bank address: Cannaregio, 122/A 30121 Venezia - coordinate bancarie / bank account: IBAN: IT36D0503402071000000020500 BIC/SWIFT: BAPPIT22 - it is request to specify in the payment name, surname and the note “Iscrizione al Master Iuav EMERGENCY & RESILIENCE - Project Strategies & Innovation in Humanitarian Emergencies – a.a. 2017/2018”. 6. The receipt of payment of the enrolment fee must accompany the registration form, which must be delivered in accordance with the deadlines and procedure described in paragraph 2 of this article. 7. Candidates in an eligible position in the list who do not enroll within the deadline for enrolling will lose the right of enrolment and their vacant positions will be assigned to other candidates in the list in descending order. 8. The enrolment to the postgraduate course is not compatible to the enrolment to others postgraduate courses, specialization schools, PHD courses, master’s degrees as “laurea” or “laurea specialistica/magistrale”. If candidates are enrolled to a previous course, they must to suspend their academic course before enrolling to the postgraduated course. ART. 7 - ENROLMENT FEE AND PAYMENT METHODS 1. The enrolment fee must be paid as written in the previous art. 6 paragraphs 4 and 5. 2. The candidates can download the MAV (“Pagamento Mediante Avviso”), that is a bank method to pay, automatically from their personal area on the Iuav University website. 3. MAV can be paid as follows: at bank offices in Italy (presenting the MAV downloaded from Iuav website) at ATM offices of Bank of Banco Popolare with the personal bancomat or at others ATM offices that offer the similar service. In this case, it is necessary write the number code of the MAV through the Home Banking service. In this case, it is necessary write the number code of the MAV, the amount and the deadline. 4. The non-EU candidates residing abroad can pay the enrolment fee through the Iuav bank account written in the previous art. 6 paragraph 3. It is request to specify in the payment name, surname and the note “Iscrizione al Master Iuav EMERGENCY & RESILIENCE - Project Strategies & Innovation in Humanitarian Emergencies – a.a. 2017/2018”. 5. The fee for enrolment to the postgraduate course is an integral part of the act of registration to the course that the student must pay, as defined under the former Italian regulatory framework, that is “T.U. delle Leggi sull’istruzione superiore, del 31 agosto 1933, n. 1592”. ART. 8 - SCHOLARSHIP POSSIBLY AVAILABLE 1. Scholarship possibly available will be published in the following website: http://www.iuav.it/master/. ART. 9 - ENROLMENT TO INDIVIADUAL MODULE 1. It is possible to apply for individual module for a maximum of 20 students, with the only exclusion for the module referring to internship and thesis that can’t be bought. 2. The enrolment to individual module it is not compatible to the enrollment to others academic degree courses, included PHD courses. 3. To be admitted to individual module, it is necessary to have one of the qualifications written at art. 3. 4. To be admitted to individual module it is necessary to write the following application form: - “richiesta di iscrizione a singole attività formative del master” (for individual module) that candidates download from the Iuav website http://www.iuav.it/master/ with attached the documents required at art. 4. 5. The application form must have a “marca da bollo” (tax stamp) of 16,00 € and must be sent by the deadline established in art. 6 paragraph 2, choosing an option as follows: present by hand at Archivio Generale dell’Università Iuav di Venezia, sede dei Tolentini, Santa Croce, n. 191, 30135 Venezia, from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., by fax (041 2571877) or, at the address above, through postal service: in this case, it is request to specify in the payment “Iscrizione al Master Iuav EMERGENCY & RESILIENCE - Project Strategies & Innovation in Humanitarian Emergencies – a.a. 2017/2018”, sending an e-mail [email protected] from a similar e-mail address as PEC. 6. The special committee will evaluate the academic, educational, scientific and professional qualifications and documents submitted by the candidates in order to develop the admission list. 7. The criteria for the evaluation of qualifications and the scores will be determined by the special committee, which will record their decision in the minutes. In case one or more candidates present the same score, in the list the youngest candidate will precede the others. 8. The committee will forward to Area Didattica e Servizi agli Studenti – Servizio Master the list of candidates for the adoption of the relevant administrative measures. 9. The candidates on the list in a position allowing their admission will inform from Servizio Master and/or the results will publish in the Iuav web page: http://www.iuav.it/master/ as written in the art. 6 paragraph 1. 10. The candidates on the list in a position allowing their admission must enroll within September 21st, 2017 by sending an e-mail to [email protected] with attached the receipt of the payment fee together with a valid ID document. 11. Candidates in an eligible position in the list who do not enroll within the deadline for enrolling will lose the right of enrollment and their vacant positions will be assigned to other candidates in the list in descending order. 12. The enrolment fee for each module is of € 2.000 (for each module chosen). 13. At the end, to the students that have made an individual module, Università Iuav di Venezia will issue a document of attendance (attestato di frequenza) and, in case of final test, a certificate of advancement (certificato di profitto) with the acquisition of related ECTS. The attendance and the final test must be certified by Professors. 15. Candidates can recover all the documents presented at Servizio Master within 3 months from the publication of the list of admissions. After that, the conservation of documents is not guaranteed. ART. 10 - POSTGRADUATE COURSE DIPLOMA 1. At the end of all the activities, Università Iuav di Venezia will issue a postgraduate course diploma (2nd level) with the acquisition of 60 ECTS. 2. To make the final test, candidates - which have paid the enrollment in a right way and which have fulfilled a minimum of 70% of the whole course – have to present request to obtain the title to Iuav University, Servizio Master, through the on-line procedure (visit the following web page for the details for registration http://www.iuav.it/Didattica1/master/) connecting to personal area of Sportello Internet. ART. 11 - PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA According to D.L.vo 30/06/2003, n. 196, personal information data will be processed, on paper or computer, according to the terms contained therein.
