Specific Areas
Literacy
(This is assessed in English)
 Hear and say sounds, and link them to the alphabet
 Notice rhyming words
 Enjoy reading and listening to books

Below are some examples of useful wow cards that link to the
Literacy part of the foundation stage profile.
We were reading

 Use maths words such as heavier/lighter, more/less,
add/subtract.
