If there are 103 students in Lama and the average pie diameter is 10

I think that the greatest
Lama event was Pi day. Pi day
is every March 14th or 3/14 the
first digits in Pi. The 2 weeks
before the day we have to
memorize as many of the digits
as we can. Also one of the
best tasting activities we did
was bringing in pies to eat. The
best activity that should Lama
Malama was making cards for
the elderly. Pie was the best
Lama event because it was fun
and we got to learn a lot
about pie. I liked Pi day and
will probably never say that
many digits of PI as I did that
day.

students bring pies how
many square inches of Pi
will the Lama team have.

First Divide the diameter in half to find the
radius. 10/2=5
Then multiply the radius by itself then by Pi
. 5 x Pi = about 15.7
Then Mulyiply area of one pie by 34
15.7 x 34 = 533.8
About 533.8 in Squared of Pie
