Ancient Egyptians
Not long ago along the River Nile
There lived some people who dressed with style
They lived between 4,000 and 500 BC
They’re part of ancient history
Ancient Egyptians, Civilization
Buried their kings with jewels and gold
We call them mummies now that their old
Well living in the desert it got really hot
They wore cool linen clothes a lot
Their picture writing was terrific
We call those pictures hieroglyphics
Ancient Egyptians, Civilization
Buried their kings with jewels and gold
We call them mummies now that their old
The people worked hard for their kings
Building pyramids and other things
The pyramids were built with types of stone
And when the king died it became his home
Ancient Egyptians, Civilization
Buried their kings with jewels and gold
We call them mummies now that their old
Ancient Egyptians, Civilization
Buried their kings with jewels and gold
We call them mummies now that their old

Oregon Trail Rap
It was the 1840s I do tell. We were going west on the Oregon Trail.
In covered wagons we did ride, our only possessions stashed inside.
We traveled far to stake our claim, on prairie land and steep terrain.
In rain and snow, and scorching sun. The oxen pulled till day was done.
15 miles every day
Wagon ho I heard them say
Traveled hard from dawn to dusk
Wheels are turning on prairie dust
No room for toys of fancy jewels. We stored our food and cooking fuel.
When wood was gone, no trees to clip, we improvised with buffalo chips.
Rode in the wagon on a rainy day, walkin’ and riding’ while on our way.
Our wagons loaded we did roam as we headed west to our new home
15 miles every day
Wagon ho I heard them say
Traveled hard from dawn to dusk
Wheels are turning on prairie dust
15 miles every day
Wagon ho I heard them say
Traveled hard from dawn to dusk
Wheels are turning on prairie dust
Ooh ooh ooh, ooh ooh ooh

The Statue of Liberty
She’s the Statue of Liberty, a symbol of the free
One hundred fifty-one feet tall she stands for all to see
Her torch lights up the New York sky, on this we can agree
Let freedom ring for you and me, let freedom ring for you and me
She stands for liberty
She traveled to America, a gift to us from France
Stand on the ground, look up at her you’ll feel just like an ant
She represents our country, the land of the free
Who is this famous woman? She’s the Statue of Liberty
She’s got style. She’s got grace and such a friendly face

Back In The Wild West Swing
Started back in the 1800s
Packed them up with the food and cupboards
Paper’s said, “Get your sons and mothers!”
Hitch your wagon and join the others.
Everybody, everybody
Everybody’s going west these days
If you’re lucky, if you’re lucky
If you’re lucky then you’re here to stay
Took our wagon out to “Californee”
Gold and riches a’ waiting for me
Mountains, rivers, plenty to see
A 49er is what I’ll be
Everybody, everybody
Everybody’s going west these days
If you’re lucky, if you’re lucky,
If you’re lucky then you’re here to stay
Everybody dreamed of finding gold
‘Least that’s how the story’s been told
Never struck gold we must confess
But we love it here in the Wild West
Everybody, everybody,
Everybody’s going west these days
If you’re lucky, if you’re lucky
If you’re lucky then you’re here to stay
Yee-haw!
