Mr. Keim’s class:
Tuesdays (or 2nd day of the week) – Sentences/ vocab sheets
For full 16 points credit, you MUST:

Complete your work on time for the beginning of class.
_ Using a dictionary and/or the internet, fill in the vocab sheet (8 points)
_ Use the spelling word in a sentence that clearly demonstrates that you understand the meaning
of the word (8 points)
Spell ALL words in your sentence correctly.
Use correct punctuation and grammar throughout your sentence.
Underline or highlight the spelling word.
Use blue or black ink.
These MAY be typed, be sure to use 12 point font, times New Roman or Arial Font.
Make-up/corrections on sentences: If your score is below 8 (out of 12), you may redo the sentences
that you have missed to improve your score to an 8 (passing).
Wednesdays: (or 3nd day of the week) - Tests
Tip: Study the spellings with a partner.
In order to save paper, you will be using the spelling test sheets provided.
Make-up/corrections on tests: If your test score is a 5 or less (which equates to a 63%)
you can bring your grade up to a 6 (which equates to 75%) by writing spelling
corrections (writing misspelled words 10x each)
If you are absent, you have two class days to make up any tests given. You need to stay after school!
Bonus points:
There will be at least one bonus word or question on every spelling test, good for up to one full point on
your test. There are no bonus questions on make-up tests.
