notebook, the sturdy, lightweight, aluminum chassis protects the notebook from failure caused by accidental drops,

Increase productivity with near-instant
startup, quicker boot-up and faster browsing
The Samsung Notebook Series 7 Chronos features Fast
Start, a Samsung technology that provides 2-second
startup from sleep mode. Users can open browsers quickly
with Fast Start in less than 6 seconds, and boot up in 19
seconds.
The Samsung Notebook Series 7 Chronos also includes
ExpressCache1, an innovative high-speed software
technology. With ExpressCache, boot-up and loading times
for Microsoft® Windows Internet Explorer® and frequently
used applications are decreased by nearly half compared to
conventional notebooks. Samsung is the first manufacturer
to use ExpressCache technology in a PC. Hard disk drives
(HDDs) tend to operate more slowly if the HDD storage
is full, but the 8 GB solid state drive (SSD) included in
ExpressCache provides:

MaxScreen slim bezel design increases
the screen size.
View enhanced colors and text on a larger,
brighter screen
The Samsung SuperBright LCD screen technology produces
a more extensive array of colors and a brighter display than
that of a traditional PC, making graphics and text easier to
view. The anti-reflective LED screen eases eyestrain from
reflected sunlight, even outdoors.
The Samsung Notebook Series 7 Chronos also features
MaxScreen, a slim bezel design that increases the screen
size by 25.4 mm (1 in.). Although MaxScreen gives the 13and 14-inch notebooks an extra 25.4 mm (1 in.) more screen
space, the body sizes remain the same.

Reduce costs and improve mobility with longlasting battery
The Samsung Notebook Series 7 Chronos is designed to
protect the notebook and its business data. The lightweight,
aluminum chassis protects the notebook in the event of an
accidental fall. The embedded Trusted Platform Module security chip generates an encrypted key to minimize the risk
of company data being compromised by theft or attack.
Battery Life Plus, Samsung’s exclusive anti-aging battery
technology, enables users to work cord-free for up to 8
hours without having to recharge the battery. The longlasting battery in the Samsung Notebook Series 7 Chronos
maintains up to 80 percent capacity for up to 1,500 recharge
cycles. It provides five times longer battery life than conventional PC batteries (500 cycles with 60 percent of original
capacity). The battery requires replacement only once every
3 years, which minimizes operating costs.
For added protection, the Samsung Notebook Series 7
Chronos comes with a standard 3-year warranty (extendable
for up to 5 years) that includes Samsung’s Tier 2 customer
support.
The resilient yet lightweight design also improves portability.
The 15-inch model weighs 2.32 kg (5.11 lb), making it one
of the lightest 15-inch premium notebooks on the market.
The 14-inch model weighs 2.17 kg (4.78 lb), and the 13-inch
model weighs 2.07 kg (4.56 lb). All three models are only
23.9 mm (0.94 in.) in thickness, so they are easy to transport
anywhere.
