Nashville, TN – Pearl Corporation is proud to announce a partnership with Shopatron to provide an
online shopping experience to the industry leading PearlDrum.com website. With Shopatron, Pearl
incorporates its esteemed dealers into the online fulfillment process, driving sales to existing dealers.
Via Shopatron, percussionists across the U.S. will now have the ability to purchase Pearl products online
while continuing to support local music stores. Customers can now choose to purchase an item via an
online shopping cart, and the order will be routed to the closest dealers who can fulfill the order.
Customers will have the option to either pick the item up in-store or have it conveniently delivered.
This new purchasing function is made possibly by the patented Shopatron Order Exchange, which allows
manufacturers to pass online orders to retailers for delivery to the consumer; hence boosting retailer
sales while, at the same time, encouraging them to stock more products in their store to fulfill online
orders. Now dealers can see what’s selling for the brands they stock, learn what items are hot, and
which are not. Dealers also create more foot traffic by fulfilling online orders, as many consumers
choose to pick up their items locally.
Customers will see a “Buy” tab on each product’s page, allowing them to add the item to their virtual
cart. Upon checkout, the order is generated and sent to authorized Pearl dealers within a given radius,
informing them of the query.
