Players: 2-4 players
Materials: Gameboard, Gingerbread Baby Story Cards, Number Cube,
Playing Pieces
Directions: Shuffle cards and lay them in a stack on the playing surface.
Each of the players rolls the number cube. The player with the highest
roll goes first. Play goes clockwise.
To Play: Roll the number cube and draw a story card. If the player can
correctly answer the question, the player moves ahead the number of
spaces on the number cube. If the player does not correctly answer the
question, the player does not move. After one card, it is the next player’s
turn.
Players can check opponents’ answers using the Answer Key to
determine if correct answers are given.
The first player to reach the FINISH square on the gameboard is the
winner!
The playing pieces below may be printed on cardstock and/or laminated to use during the game or
the teacher may choose to use cubes, coins, erasers, or other small objects commonly found in the
classroom as playing pieces.
