Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle speeding through the construction area
of US Hwy 41, northbound over Lloyd Expy. The offender, Dalles Gilchrist,
smelled strongly of alcoholic beverage. Dalles also stated he had never recieved a
drivers license. Dalles refused to take any field sobriety tests, and refused a
chemical test after being read implied consent.

Logan Bates was observed driving a vehicle by the witnesses. They saw him hit a
mailbox at 3201 Lake Dr and drove through a yard. They follow the subject as he
drove on Oak Hill, Lynch, HWY 41, Diamond, Stringtown, and Richardt. He was
observed by the witnesses weaving back and forth, speeding, and running a red
light at Diamond and Kentucky. Officer was finally able to catch up to them at
Richardt and Garvin. Officer observed in plain view 2 beer cans. Bates failed all 3
field sobriety tests. Logan driving status showed HTV and he also had a prior
conviction for OMVWI with in the past 5 years. Logan was transported to VCCC
where he refused to take a chemical test. He was later arrested. His vehicle was
towed.

The operator was not wearing his front safety belt and did not have proof of

observed a male on the sidewalk being disorderly. It was discovered that a male
subject had mental disorders and marijuana on his person. He was transported to

together throughout the night. Anderson stated that he and the black male had a
verbal argument that turned into a shoving match that resulted in Anderson falling
and hit his head on the bathroom tub. Anderson was taken to Deaconess hospital
(AMR# 1112) for an laceration on the back of his head.

On 050215 at 0159 hours, I was dispatched to St. Mary`s Hospital in referenc to a
female, domestic violence victim being transported there by Scott Twp Fire
Department. The fire department arrived a few minutes after I did. The victim,
Danyelle N. Miller, was taken to ER room 6 for treatment. Miller had a laceration
over her left eye and on her nose. In addition to the laceration on her nose, it
might also have been broken. Miller was also complaining of pain to her neck and
stated that on a pain scale of 1-10 she was at a 4 or 5.
Miller stated that she ended her shift at around 2315 hours, and her boyfriend, the
offender, showed up at her work and was upset that she hadn`t called him sooner.
He began belittling her and calling her names. They returned to their apartment,
where the argument continued. Miller went to her car and attempted to leave when
the offender opened her driver`s door, grabbed Miller by the head and slammed it
onto the center console of the car, resulting in the listed injuries. Both parties went
back into the apartment and when the offender went into the bathroom, Miller was
able to make it to her car and fled from the apartment complex. Miller returned to
her work, where law enforcement and medical were notified.
Miller was given the case number and was advised that a detective would be doing
a follow-up with her. CSTU Detective J. Pieczowski arrived and took
photographs.

around a minute, and when she came back out it was gone. She was getting ready
to leave for Kansas City and had her purse full of the listed items and misc
notepads and papers. Her yard is not fenced and accessible from the alley. She
said that she searched the alley and trash cans before calling. Purse contained no
money or credit cards.

fuck if she has charges against him..."
She feels very threatened and says he is capable of doing exactly what he
threatens to do.

at 2100 and when he came outside on 5/2/15 at 445hrs the bicycle was gone. The
bicycle is a unique bike. It is red and black chopper style bike with chrome forks.
The bike has Stingray in multiple places on the bike.
No suspects at this time.

air conditioner was damaged when it was pushed in through the window.

to the victim. He stated that he had rented a room with a female friend. He said
that they were in the room when the suspect came in the room. The victim said
that the suspect was friends with the female. The suspect took shower then told
the victim that he needed to run outside, but would be back. The victim said that
he left the room and went outside with the female. He said that his 1993 Chevrolet
truck was missing from the lot. The bicycle that the suspect arrived on was still
parked at the hotel. The victim said that the truck does not need a key because the
ignition is damaged. He was given the case number and records number.

WItness was sitting at the "Stop" sign while South-bound on CRAIG, just North of
the intersection with CLAREMONT. He observed Suspect in Suspect Vehicle
going Eastbound on CLAREMONT, turn North onto the lot of Victim-business,
"PHOF Annex," 3819 CLAREMONT. Suspect vehicle appeared to accelerate
once on the gravel lot and turn sharply to the West. Suspect vehicle`s front end
struck the wheelchair ramp for "PHOF Annex," breaking the wooden ramp`s
guardrails on both sides. Suspect, still in Suspect vehicle, then left the area
without providing mandatory information, Westbound on CLAREMONT. Listed
IO, followed Suspect vehicle and Suspect vehicle turned North on RED BANK
RD. The Suspect vehicle drove onto the lot of "Zeller Tires" at RED BANK RD
and LLOYD EXPRESSWAY. Suspect got out of Suspect Vehicle and removed
part of the front end that was hanging loose from Suspect Vehicle. Suspect got
back into Suspect Vehicle and left, Northbound on RED BANK RD. Listed IO
then lost Suspect Vehicle.
Officer initially went to "PHOF Annex" and informed Witness that he was going
to "Zeller" to speak to the Suspect. Before Officer could arrive, Suspect left
"Zeller" and was lost.
The "PHOF Annex" is associated with "Pentecostal House of Faith" church, across
the street, at 3818 CLAREMONT. The pastor of the church was called by IO`s
wife, but had not shown-up by the time Officer finished this report. Officer left a
business card with this case number in the mailbox of the church.
Officers checked the Suspect`s address and the Suspect Vehicle was not there.

Goocher, reports finding the listed handgun in the mail cabinet in the lobby of her
apartment building, The Meridian, 300 Main St. The lobby doors are secure. The
mail cabinet is not. The handgun was inside the cabinet, placed on top of phone
books.
A subject checked the mail cabinet on, 050115 at 1800hrs, and the gun was not in
the cabinet. The gun was found on, 050215 at 0900hrs.
CST D. Vonderscher called to scene to collect the handgun.

approximately four years. OFFENDER has shared Hopper`s residence, off & on,
over the course of that time period.
On 042615, she fled her residence while he was there, and has not seen or talked to
him, since. She stayed at an alternate location, until 050115. From 042615, at 1858
hours, to report time, he has called her mobile phone 16 times, but she refuses to
answer. On 042915, Vanderburgh County court granted her a protective order, but
no record indicates that he has been served, yet. 13 of the 16 calls registered after
the PO issued.

I was dispatched to 316 E Iowa on a burglary report. On scene I spoke to the
victim and owner. They stated that they had arrived at this location to remove the
victim`s property from the garage. They found the garage entry door unlocked.
When they went inside the garage, they found several things that belonged to the
victim had been taken. The victim said that there are too many things to list, so he
will make out a list of the property taken. I spoke to the IO. She said that she has
not been living here for some time and was evicted by the owner. She did not
know when the garage was broken into. The neighbors across the alley did not see
anyone inside the garage. The victim was given the case number and records
number. He said that he would call and make arrangements for the list of stolen
items.

phone on the service counter to unload some items and upon returning to retrieve
his phone discovered it missing. The store manager viewed the store video and
observed the suspect pick up the cell phone from the counter and exit the store.
The manager states that the suspect comes into the store frequently to get cash
from his Plasma debit card, but they do not know the suspects name or any
information. The store manager stated that he will have the loss prevention director
burn a copy of the video and contact the police when it is ready for pick up. End

Listed Reporter, Ms Bratcher, advises that her child`s father, listed Victim--Mr
Thomas, allows her to use his vehicle--the described Honda Civic. The Honda
was left parked outside Ms Bratcher`s current boyfriend`s home overnight last
night. Between 20:00 hours on 050115 and 12:31 hours on 050215, someone
broke-out the Honda`s driver`s side brake lens.
Ms Bratcher`s current boyfriend, listed IO--Mr Rudisill, is going through a
divorce. Listed Suspect is Mr Rudisill`s soon-to-be ex-wife. Ms Bratcher and Mr
Rudisill both believe that listed Suspect intentionally damaged the Honda out of

On 050215 at 1240hrs, a subject observed the victim, sitting in his vehicle in the,
PHELPS, J. W.
Republican Headquarters parking lot, 801 John St, having a medical issue. She
called for an AMR and unit 2012 arrived on scene. After evaluating the victim,
they determined that he was having a reaction to huffing dust removal. They
called dispatch for EPD assistance. I arrived on scene and found the victim sitting
on the curb, talking and appearing to have recovered from the effects of huffing.
He refused medical attention.
AMR personnel, stated that the victim was agitated at first, and appeared to be
under the influence of the chemicals he had huffed. They added that he recovered
quickly and was cooperative, but did refuse medical help.

in her stomach area, knocking the breath out of her. When the doors opened, he
exited without saying anything.
Kissel stated that she has had ongoing problems with the suspect harassing her.
She added that he is always intoxicated and she is tired of him bothering her.
She will follow up on the charge through the Prosecutors Office.

Offender was observed by witness` driving down the roadway on a riding
lawnmower with his daughter sitting on his lap and another adult female standing
on the deck of the riding lawnmower. Witness`s stated it appeared as if he was
intoxicated and several times nearly fell from the mower with his daughter still
sitting on his lap. They also reported the mower nearly being struck by vehiclular
traffic because it was swerving into the traffic.
When Officer Kassel saw them, they were stopped on the sidewalk and off of the
mower. Offender was tested with a portable Alco-Sensor and tested .445% BAC.
Offender was written a summons to appear in court for Public Intoxication B
misdemeanor. Child was released to the custody of Offender`s mother (child`s
grandmother) who came to the scene to pick her up.

in custody. When I arrived, I met with Loss Prevention employee, Jack Jeffries.
Also in the office was the offender, Michael Jourdan. Jeffries advised he observed
Jourdan select a Kenwood car CD player and leave the electronics area. Near the
pharmacy area, Jourdan removed the "spiderwrap" from the Kenwood box.
Jeffries followed Jourdan through the self-checkouts without paying for the CD
player. Jourdan then proceeded through the EAS towers before Jeffries stopped
him in the vestibule. Jourdan was cooperative with both Wal-Mart employees and
police. He was cited and released.

associates noticed that she was taking items into the fitting room and only some of
the items were coming back out. Loss prevention was notified and she started
watching Brooke. Brooke kept taking items into the fitting room and returning
them but later she took items in and only some of the items came back out. The
associates checked the fitting room and did find those items. They only found
price tags. Brooke later exited the store through the south exit. She was stopped
and escorted back into the store where 4 clothing items were recovered in her
purse. The total value for the 4 items was $224.00. Brooke had no prior conviction
so she was cited and released, cite#8220084692. The items were returned to the
store.

Officers arrived and found the victim Erica Mason and the offender both inside the
home with two small child present. The subjects could be heard from the side
walk yelling at each other. I spoke with the victim while Officer Sammet spoke
with the offender outside the home. The victim advised this evenings incident was
all verbal. Erica stated she got into a verbal argument with the offender over
supper. Erica did state that the relationship has been physical on several occasions
in the past. Erica had a small contusion to the right side of her chin. Erica said the
bruise was from the offender and that incident happened on Thursday. Erica
advised that they got into a physical altercation on Thursday and the offender
punched her in the face several times causing contusions to her chin area, a bump
on the backside of her head and some facial swelling. Erica said the offender held
her arms together on Thursday and would not allow her to call the police. Erica
would not advise why she had not called since the incident. Erica does work
outside the home and has access to a cell phone.
Officer Sammet advised the offender stated this evenings incident was all
verbal. Said the argument was over the victim accusing him of running around on
her. After asking him about the argument being over supper he stated yes they
were also arguing over that but then it lead into her accusing him of running
around and that is why he got so loud.
Erica gathered up some belongs this evening and took the children with her
for the night. Erica was given the case number and was advised to follow up with

On 050215 at 2208 hours, I was dispatched to St. Mary`s Hospital ER room 4 in
reference to a domestic violence battery report. Upon arrival, I spoke with Mary
Ann Kurzendoerfer. She stated that around 1700-1800 hours, she and her husband
had returned to their residence after attending a "derby" party. He became upset
and pushed her down the stairwell leading up to their apartment. Kurzendoerfer
suffered abrasions to her left shoulder and lower legs, bruising around her right
eye and pain to her lower back. She stated that she had a previous back injury
about three years ago when she ruptured three disks. Kurzendoerfer remembered
her neighbor, BA, helping her up the stairs, but she lost consciousness and could
not remember the ride in the ambulance to the hospital. CSTU Detective
Pieszchalski photographed Kurzendoerfer`s injuries.

with VI League. League said he was walking by Burger King on Main St. and a
male jumped out and hit him in the face. The suspect picked League up and
slammed him to the ground. The male was hitting and kicking him while he was
on the ground. League walked to Deaconess for his injuries. When League got
home from Deaconess he realized the subject took $100 out of his pocket. League
said he saw the subject`s fist and that he was a black male. The male was wearing
a white hoodie with blue stripes. There was possibly a second suspect but no
description at this time.
League had a small cut on his lip and complained of pain in the rib cage area.
I advised Det. Holden by phone due to the amount of time that had elapsed.

I was dispatched to the above address in reference to a Criminal Mischief
Report. On scene, I spoke to the Victim, later identified as C. Horstman.
Horstman stated that he and his wife were in the family room located at the back of
the house watching TV, when he heard a loud "boom" and then glass shattering.
Horstman noticed a rock had been thrown through a window above where his wife
was lying on the couch.
Horstman and I went to the rear of the house where we located two landscaping
rocks similar to the one inside his family room. Horstman showed me the area
next to a fence that runs along the easement to his property where the landscaping
rocks came from. Horstman also pointed out the gate from the easement was
unlatched.
Horstman and I went inside and I noted glass and a rock sitting in the middle of
the family room floor. The blinds in the window that broken, were torn and
ripped. I also noted nicks in a closet door directly opposite the broken window.
Horstman was given a case number for insurance purposes. No suspect
information was available at the time of this report.

scene heading East bound in the West bound lanes of Franklin. Sgt Cox saw a
vehicle matching the description at Franklin and Second heading West bound at a
high rate of speed. Schafer made a u-turn at the intersection while the light was
still red and pulled into the lot of Phillips 66 at Franklin and Fulton. Schafer was
intoxicated and had damage to his vehicle that matched that to the Taxi. He
refused all field sobriety tests and chemical breath test. His most recent insurance
card I could find in the vehicle was from Geico and expired on 02-10-14. ( see
