• The responsibility for the children lies with the
adults organising the party. We ask that at least two
participating adults accompany the children on the
day of the party;
• A non-refundable deposit of £30 is required at
least two weeks in advance;
• Participants should be suitably dressed for

• Photographs may be taken by the staff at Avon
Heath for publicity purposes. Please advise us if
you have any objections;
• If the behaviour of any child is deemed to disrupt
or compromise the safety of other participants,
the adults responsible will need to make
arrangements to send this child home,
or leave the party with them;
• If the weather conditions are extreme and would
compromise the safety of the event, then we will
cancel the event and offer you an alternative date.
If in doubt on the morning of the event, please call
ahead for confirmation.

Invite your friends to help you construct your very own
party venue! With the help of a ranger you can build
a den big enough for you all to enjoy your birthday
lunch in. Will it be good enough to pass the den
builders inspection?

Come and see what lurks beneath the waters in
our pond, look under logs for creepy crawlies and
spot some spiders in the gorse. We’ll provide the
expertise, bug hunt pots and ID charts if you’re
brave enough to join us!

Explore the park with the Ranger, collect sticks
and kindling, then learn how to make a fire safely.
Marshmallow toasting included!
Track down the animals of Avon Heath by
investigating skulls, footprints and droppings and
then go out and look for signs on the ground.
You will be making your own plaster cast of an
animal print to take home.
We are lucky enough to have all six British reptiles
living and breeding at Avon Heath. Join our very own
reptile expert on a walk of discovery, and find out
more about these fascinating creatures.
