1. RFG FRUIT PRODUCTS WESTERN CAPE
Based in Tulbagh this state of the art factory has earned a global reputation for excellence.
The deciduous fruit range it produces includes canned apricots, peaches, pears, fruit cocktail
and guavas, which are also packed aseptically as fruit purees and diced fruit particulates.
2. RFG FRUIT PRODUCTS SWAZILAND
Known as Swazican, this Swaziland-based factory was established in 1954 when pineapples
were first grown commercially in Southern Africa. Today it is one of the largest citrus canning
operations in the world and is a leading producer and grower of pineapple products. Swazican
also produces a range of prepared fruit and jelly products that are packed in plastic cups.
3. RFG JUICE PRODUCTS
In 2015, Rhodes Food Group acquired Pacmar (Pty) Ltd, one of the biggest juice manufacturers
and distributors in South Africa. Established in 1997, the plant is situated in Wellington in the
Western Cape and packs juice for both local and international markets. Its packaging formats
include Tetra Pak, Nampak, plastic (PET) and bulk packaging such as 20L and 5L “bag in box”.
4. RFG PULPS & PUREES
Located in Wellington in the Western Cape, this plant has been producing quality fruit and
vegetable concentrates and purees since 2005. Its products are exported to more than 30 countries
across the globe and in 2015, the Boland Pulp operation was acquired by Rhodes Food Group.
