APRIL 4-8 Public Schools Week MONDAY, APRIL 4 Talent Show Rehearsal (Library at Lunchtime) All students will have the chance to participate in a Be Seen Keepin’ It Clean challenge. Students will receive supplies to pick up trash and recyclables in their neighborhood the weekend of April 22-24. On Monday 4/25, parents may also choose to walk with their kids on the 25th & pick up litter along the way to school. We’ll be on campus to receive the trash from 7am–7:45, and come by to see Recycle Truck demonstrations! The first session will be in language arts Tues 5/17–Thurs 5/19, followed the next week with math 24th–26th. Testing will be in the morning. Raffle will be drawn at 4:00 Hatch Auction Thank You This is a Mavericks-wave sized thank you to all who attended and bid at this year’s Hatch “Let’s Play” auction — A night of dinner, dancing, games, and raising money for our school programs. The school district has a policy that allows parents to request that their child attend a school of residence. Enrollment is contingent on procedures of Board Policy and Regulations 5116.1 If you are interested in your child attending a school other than your home school for the next school year, please request an Open Enrollment form from your school office beginning January 20, 2015 and submit your request by April 30, 2015. There is no need to complete a form if your child is already on Open Enrollment.
