IMPROVING FLOWER BEDS AND VEGETABLE GARDENS
1. Add 2-3 inches of Organic Humus and Manure to your garden area.
(See chart below to calculate the number of bags needed)
2. Rototill or spade to a depth of 6 inches, mixing well*. Level the
garden with a rake.
3. Plant seeds or live plants, following specific package or plant tag
instructions.
4. Water thoroughly after planting, then daily until plants are well
established.
5. Begin a feeding program immediately with Miracle-Gro® Plant Food,
following package instructions.
FOR OPTIMUM LANDSCAPE BEDS: Replace Organic Humus and
Manure with Miracle-Gro Garden Soils. Miracle-Gro Garden Soils are a
ready to use blend of higher organic materials, sphagnum peat moss,
