Now in its ninth year, the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon is East Tennessee’s largest road race, drawing more than 8,000 participants from around the U.S. and throughout the world. Knoxville’s multi-faceted race weekend includes a pre-race Health & Fitness Expo with more than 50 exhibitors and Kids Fun Run on Saturday followed by the other races on Sunday. A highlight of the marathon is the thrilling finish on the 50-yard line in the University of Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium, one of the country’s most impressive collegiate athletic facilities.
