Our standard product line includes environmental testing products, solutions for testing foods, petrochemicals, pulp and paper, USP Testing Solutions, ACS Reagent Solutions, and more. Products are available in a variety of package sizes, including bulk sizes. We also provide products custom manufactured to your specifications and schedule, as well as private-label and contract packaging, blending and filling services. C e r t i f i e d Tr a c e a b i l i t y t o N I S T m a t e r i a l RICCA CHEMICAL COMPANY products are certified traceable to Standard Reference Materials of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), where suitable materials exist. In cases where suitable NIST materials are not available, we certify against primary standard reference material. Label information of most Titrants include designation of the specific NIST Reference Material to which the item is traceable, the manufacturing tolerance to which the item is standardized, and the indicator, if any, used in the standardization. This policy applies to most Titrants of Normality one or less. All Titrants with Normalities greater than one are standardized against secondary standards, which are traceable to NIST standards or other primary standards. ISO 9001 Registered Manufacturer RICCA CHEMICAL COMPANY products are manufactured to meet the highest standards of quality and consistency. Our robust ISO-9001 quality system coupled with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) gives you confidence with every product. The customer benefits from a reduction in the amount of approval testing required and is guaranteed complete traceability of raw materials and finished products. All of our testing solutions are lot numbered and manufactured from controlled batch records with minimal lot-to-lot variation. All products are expiration-dated or list manufacturing date, as appropriate. Certificates of Analysis and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are available on our website (www.riccachemical.com) for easy access and to help you maintain your documentation. pH Buffers RICCA CHEMICAL COMPANY offers a complete line of pH Buffers ranging from pH 1 to pH 13. Our Calibration Buffers meet United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) specifications (± 0.01 pH) and our Precision Reference Buffers offer a tolerance of ± 0.005. The more commonly-used Buffers (pH 4, 7 and 10) are available without color or as color-coded formulations for easier identification in the lab. They are also available in easy-to-use 20 mL pouches. We do not use Formaldehyde or Mercury compounds as preservatives, or Chromium compounds as colorants, which provides for safer usage and easier disposal. Temperature charts are available for all whole-numbered Buffers (pH 1 to 11). In fact, all of the most commonly-used Buffers have the charts printed on the bottle labels. RICCA CHEMICAL COMPANY offers a wide variety of Spectroscopy Standards, all tested directly against NIST Standards where available. The expiration date and matrix dilution instructions are printed on the label. Each Standard is packaged in a zip-lock plastic bag with a Certificate of Analysis. Atomic Absorption (AA) Standards, made with high purity solutes and solvents, are also suitable for use in other methods of analysis where the indicated solute-solvent combination is compatible with the test method being used. All have a concentration of 1.00 mg metal per mL solution (1,000 µg / mL) which is equivalent to 1,000 (± 5) parts per million (ppm) or 0.1% (w/v). Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) Standards include all elements required by the Environmental Protection Association (EPA) Contract Laboratory Program (CLP), plus many other elements. Concentrations available are : 1000 ppm (± 5 ppm) and 10,000 ppm (± 50 ppm). ICP Standards are made from ultra-high purity starting materials that have been analyzed specifically for use in trace metal analysis – including ASTM Type I, 18 megohm, 0.20 micron filtered water. A choice of matrices is available for several elements, giving the analyst flexibility in making multi-element blends. The Certificate of Analysis details analytical data for 69 trace level elements and impurities. ICP Multi-Element Standards are provided for use in technician training, methods development, and multiple US EPA Methods (200.7, 200.8, 200.9, SW-846, 6010, 6020, CLP, 200.11, etc.) All of these products are prepared with the same attention to detail and quality as the single element standards. Requests for custom-made blends and single elements are welcome. A Quotation Request Form has been supplied in this brochure. Titrants, Solutions, and Standards: ( p e r A P H A , A S T M , E PA , TA P P I , A O A C , S W 8 4 6 m e t h o d s , e t c ) RICCA CHEMICAL COMPANY offers numerous products for use in water and solid waste analysis. Items for waste water analysis are manufactured according to the specifications set forth in the latest editions of the APHA Standard Methods or ASTM, EPA, or SW-846 publications. Solutions specified in earlier editions are often available as well. Custom Manufacturing Capabilities We welcome the opportunity to assist you by formulating a product to meet your specifications and your timeline for delivery.
