The anxious, nervous, worrying child
Supporting your kids when they are nervous or anxious can
be tricky. Often parents can become nervous or anxious
themselves or even impatient and cross with their child.
What is anxiety? What keeps the worrying going?
What can I do to help?
Dr Victoria Clay from LifeWise will help you understand these
issues as she discusses several approaches to coping with
anxiety in children, along with tips and strategies to help parents
build confidence and resilience in their children.
CPR for parents
Do you know what to do in an emergency? Parents, learn
the latest CPR techniques and basic first aid for children and
babies. There’s a chance to practice what you learn on CPR
mannequins. Presented by Council’s Beach Lifeguards.
BIBs (Babies into Books)
