Seam Type
Bound - Tightly sewn with a reinforced outer binding to increase
seam strength and particle barrier. For potential misting exposure
of non-hazardous liquids or particle penetration through the
seam.

TEMPERATURE RANGE
-85°F (60°C) to 200°F (93°C) Established by performing tests at high (ASTM D751)
and low (ASTM D2136) temperatures.Permeation testing per ASTM F739 is
performed at an ambient temperature of approx. 77°F (25°C). Variation of
temperature affects the behavior and aggressiveness of chemicals and may alter
the barrier performance of the fabric.Caution Tychem® fabrics offer little to no
thermal heat protection to the user. The temperature range for the fabric and
seams is well beyond the temperatures that the human skin can withstand without
injury.
