SIDE GATE CAFÉ 10th BIRTHDAY!!
Marion Church of Christ runs a Community Café that complements the services of MarionLIFE, and the
Good Gear Shop. Side Gate Café is a gateway for people to experience value, harmony and peace in a
safe environment while enjoying great food at affordable prices.
The Side Gate Café is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 10am to 2pm during School Terms
and is run by volunteers. There is a regular menu of low cost snacks and light lunches plus daily
specials. We encourage groups and organisations to use the Café for a meeting place, for business and/or
pleasure. If you would like to receive a regular update of Menu Specials, please contact
[email protected] or phone 8277 7388. Bookings welcome and the coffee is great and only $2.50!
This month Side Gate Café celebrates its 10th Birthday! To celebrate, the following specials are available
during May:
 10% off your coffee for the month of May. Same quality, same size, just an even more awesome
price.
 Group bookings of 10 or more receive a free coffee (bookings essential).
 If you bring a friend who is a first time customer you will both receive a free gift.

MARIONLIFE YOUTH BACK ON FOR TERM 2
MarionLIFE Youth is a youth drop-in space for local 12-17 year olds in our Youth Centre building
between 3-5:30pm on Fridays after school. It’s on this week and every Friday through until 30 June
providing a safe place to ‘hang-out’ with fun activities, life skills workshops and a healthy light meal.
All free!
It will also provide the opportunity to access information about other relevant support services. We look
forward to seeing you there, 887 Marion Rd, Mitchell Park (enter at rear).
This project is funded through the City of Marion Youth Development Grants Program. If you would like

FUNDRAISING CONCERT 20 MAY
Brougham Place Uniting Church and MarionLIFE Community Services proudly present Country Meets
City Fundraising Concert.
When: Saturday 20 May at 7pm
Where: Brougham Place Uniting Church, 193 Brougham Place, North Adelaide
Artists: The Sherrahs, Amy Lea, MiniM Choir plus Local Chamber Group

Hardcopy tickets can be purchased in person from either Brougham Place Uniting Church (82672657) or
MarionLIFE Community Services (82770304). Adults are $20 and Children/Students Under 18 are $5.
Proceeds go towards MarionLIFE, CMLA and BPUC Building Fund.
MITCHELL PARK ASSET MAP
MarionLIFE Community Services is proud to share that an Asset Map on Mitchell Park has been
produced by the City of Marion and Junction Australia! The A5 size map includes a cartoon style map of
the whole suburb on one side and a short blurb about each community location on the other side. Included
on the map are schools, community centres (like MarionLIFE!), playgrounds and local businesses. These
maps are free and can be collected from MarionLIFE 887 Marion Rd, Mitchell Park.
