THE ARIZONA LACROSSE FESTIVAL – WHY
The mission of the AZ Lax Fest is to get as many
people involved as possible for an annual "grow the
game" type event in which we can provide a fun event
for existing players as well as gain interest from
potential new players. The Arizona Youth Lacrosse
League (AYL), the Arizona Lacrosse League (ALL) and
the AZ Chapter of US Lacrosse have all partnered to
create this event and will be working together to build
and organize the event. We have also partnered with
the founder of 3x lacrosse and will be offering
discounts on all official 3x merchandise.
Please check out www.3xlacrosse.com for more info
on the game and merchandise.
Registration
The ALL will run all of the registration and take
payments through the ALL website.
Registration will open by 10/05/16 at
www.arizonalacrosseleague.com
WHAT' IS 3x:
3x is a 3v3 short-sided game that provides players with a huge amount of reps, a lot of touches with the ball, and
an opportunity to play both offense and defense. Learning the keys of the game, in a fun and face-paced environment. We will have pool and bracket play over the course of the two hours, and prizes will be awarded to winning
teams in each age group.
Players have the option to pick their own teams (Team name, and teammates) prior to registration. Teams must
be three or four players only. Players will then register individually, but enter their team name, and teammates,
when prompted. All teams must identify a "Coach" which can be a mom, dad, etc but must be an adult that will
help organize the team and keep them on task and will be responsible for communicating with Tournament
officials.
Players can also enter individually as a Free Agent, and they will be put on a team by our staff.
Teams should be made grade pure for fair play. Any team with older players on it will play up to the oldest
player's age bracket.
