Serenity Limited Edition framed print by Dave Barnhouse
Franciscan University - $2,000 Tuition Grant
This limited edition print was donated by Dave and Marie
Barnhouse.
This Financial Aid Award, provided by the Financial Aid Office can be
applied to tuition at Franciscan University. The certificate is valid
through May 2016.
Serenity depicted by this excellent artist is a quiet, peaceful early
evening sail. He sets the scene with water that's sooth as glass. The
lighthouse ensures his safe passage back to land after all cares have
been shed and released under a moon peeking from behind the
clouds.
Dave Barnhouse treasures his country background, and it shows in
his distinctive style! Every piece he creates recalls his fond

Hand painted step stools by the Art II Students
The Art II students, under the instruction of Theresa Nero, have
hand-painted a variety of step stools. The students teamed up and,
together, chose an artist to inspire their designs. Great care was
taken in the selection of the artist as the students researched the
influences and mediums used in their artwork. The artist s style is
emulated in the students painting of each step stool. Information
on the chosen artists as well as the student artists are provided
separately.
