Jonathan Barnes joins The Galbreath Group as Director, Executive Benefits
Abington, PA, January 11, 2016 –The Galbreath Group, a leading advisor to financial institutions on executive
benefits and Bank Owned Life Insurance “BOLI” and BOLI portfolio management, is pleased to announce that
Jonathan Barnes has joined the firm as Director, Executive Benefits.
Jonathan has been in the financial industry for 13 years most recently working as a Senior Client Relationship
Manager with The Pangburn Group for the last seven years. The Pangburn Group is a strategic partner of The
Galbreath Group supporting the reporting, administration, accounting and compliance associated with NonQualified Deferred Compensation (NQDC) and Bank-Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) programs. There, Jonathan
consulted on the development of NQDC plan designs and investment strategies for financial institutions
looking to purchase BOLI while seeking to diversify their existing portfolio. Jonathan also actively managed
the client relationship that included tax, accounting, and regulatory support to over 600 banks, credit unions,
insurance companies, and other financial institutions across the country.
Jonathan is a 2002 graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Prior
to joining The Pangburn Group, Jonathan worked as an Account Manager for Sallie Mae. He is active in the
New Roads, LA community where he lives with his wife, Haley, and five year old son, Evan. He serves on the
Board of Directors of False River Golf and Country Club where he also enjoys his passion of playing golf.
