Language Arts Math 8th grade ELA will begin a new unit, “The Power of Art,” in our textbook. The writing focus will be argumentative essays. Homework will be due Thursday. A SAFE will be given Friday. Students will have a SAFE Wednesday over Chapter 9 Lesson 4. A TEST for Science Social Studies Project due February 12th. Science will begin studying atoms and atomic theory this week. Chapter 9 is tentatively scheduled for Friday, February 5th. AP This week in Social Studies we will be focusing on Evaluating the impact the Bourbon Triumvirate, Henry Grady, International Cotton Exposition, Tom Watson and the Populists, Rebecca Latimer Felton, the 1906 Atlanta Riot, the Leo Frank Case, and the county unit system had on Georgia during this period. We will have a SAFE on Friday. Friday, February 5th is the last day of purchase a 2016 Yearbook.
