Endangered Animals, Pandas
Pandas are mammals. They are cute and gentle. They can weigh up to 150kg.
They can grow up to 1.5m tall. They are very chubby and short. They can live for 20
to 30 years.
Pandas live in the place that has a lot of bamboo. They live in the bamboo
forests which are located in high place of the mountains in western China.
A panda’s daily meal consists almost entirely of bamboo. Also, they eat
other grass and occasional small rodents or musk deer fawns. In the zoo, pandas
eat potatoes and biscuits too.
Pandas can do many things. They can climb the trees and swim in the rivers.
They can roll on the ground. Besides, they can play with other pandas.
Pandas are facing many threats. The bamboo harvesting makes pandas
have no food to eat. Also, people’s medicinal herb collection destroy pandas’
habitat. Moreover, the conversion of forests to agricultural areas makes pandas
have less space to live. They have slow breeding rate too. They only have 3-4 cubs
every time. Besides, people burn the bamboo forests to build railways and roads.
People hunt pandas for their beautiful fur too. Now, there are only 1600 pandas live
in the wild. More than 300 pandas live in the zoos.
To save the pandas, we should not cut down the bamboo. We should not hunt
the pandas for their fur and medicine either. We should set up protection zones for
the pandas. Also, we should find other ways to make land. Moreover, we should
donate money to the panda conservation centres. Furthermore, we should make
law to stop people killing pandas. Besides, we should punish the people who burn the
bamboo forests and cut down the bamboo.
Pandas are very cute and gentle. I hope that people will stop killing the
pandas and start protecting them. Then, we can live peacefully with the pandas.

Facts about Poor Pandas
Everyone knows pandas are the national treasure of China but do you know
they are endangered animals? Pandas are mammals. They have thick fur. Also, they
have a short tail. It is about 10 to 15 centimetres long. They weigh up to 150
kilograms. They can grow to 1.5 metres tall. They live for about 30 years.
Pandas have many habitats. They live in bamboo forests. Some of them live
in high mountains or amusement parks. Most of them live in western China such as
Sichuan and Shaanxi. Pandas are shy. So, they like to live alone.
Pandas have a healthy diet. They eat different kinds of food. For example,
they eat leaves, bamboo shoots, fruits and suchlike. The food they eat is common.
Most of them have a vegetarian diet.
Pandas can do a number of things that we always do. They climb trees and
swim. Also, they can catch fish to eat. Adult pandas make excellent climbers. They
always sleep. They seldom move too.
The number of pandas is decreasing because they are facing difficult
problems. People are very cruel. They destroy pandas’ habitat. They hunt pandas for
furs to make money. Also, the water is polluted. It is harmful for them. People are so
bad!
I think we should do something to help the poor pandas. We should join the
Planting Day. We should make laws to stop people who hunt pandas too. Also, we
should set up protection zones. We shouldn’t hunt pandas anymore.
Pandas will disappear in the near future. So, we must try our best to
protect them. In the end, I hope people will stop being selfish.

Endangered Pandas
I love pandas. They are cute and interesting. They are black and white.
Their ears, eye patches, shoulders and legs are black. The other parts are white.
Pandas are a kind of bears. They can weigh up to 150 kilograms. They can grow to
about 1.5 metres tall.
Most of pandas live in bamboo forests. They mainly live in central China
such as Sichuan and Shaanxi provinces. Some of them live in the zoos, theme parks
or breeding centres.
Pandas eat different kinds of food. They always eat bamboo. Sometimes,
they eat other grass, small rodents, sugar cane and honey. Some pandas in the zoos
eat rice gruel, special biscuits and many kinds of fruit. Pandas eat a lot of things to
keep them healthy.
Pandas can do a lot of things in the forests. They can climb the trees with
their claws. They can also swim in the river. They like playing with each other too.
Baby pandas always play with their brothers and sisters. Pandas are lazy too. They
can sleep for a long time a day.
However, pandas are facing a lot of problems. People burn the forests and
cut down the bamboo. Pandas lose their home. Also, hunters hunt pandas because
they want to make money. Moreover, there are a lot of pollution such as water
pollution, land pollution and air pollution. It is not healthy for pandas. Furthermore,
people make land to do farming. Pandas have less space to live.
To save the pandas, we should punish the people who hunt pandas. We
should set the protection zones too. We shouldn’t kill the pandas. We shouldn’t join
the panda watch tour either. We should donate money to help panda conservation
parties. We should educate people to save pandas too.
Pandas are very lovely but people hurt them to make money. Therefore, they
become endangered animals. I hope people will protect them forever.

Wildlife: Lovely Pandas
Pandas are mammals. They have thick fur. They are fluffy. Also, they are
chubby. Their ears and shoulders are black. Their faces and bodies are white. They
weigh up to 150 kilograms. Furthermore, they are 1.5 metres tall. Their tails are 10 to
15 centimetres. They can live for around 20 to 30 years. They are very lovely but they
are becoming extinct.
Pandas live in different kinds of places. They live in bamboo forests because
they can find bamboo there. Most of them live in Sichuan and in western China. They
are comfortable to live there. Besides, you can find them high in mountains. They
usually live alone because they are shy. They are very quiet. They live peacefully.
Some of them live in zoos like Ocean Park too.
Pandas like eating a lot of food. For example, they eat bamboo, leaves and
stems. They think they are yummy. Also, they eat special biscuits. Moreover, they
like eating fish and eggs. Some of them like eating fruits such as berries. Pandas have
a healthy diet. Most of them have a vegetarian diet.
Do you know what pandas can do? They can do a lot of things in a day. They
can play with water and swim. Also, they can climb the trees. Adult pandas make
excellent climbers. They can climb very high. Furthermore, they can catch fish.
Moreover, they can feed the babies. They can walk flexibly like humans on their
heels. They can comb their fur too. Sometimes, they are very lazy. For instance, they
seldom move and they have to sleep for 10 to 16 hours a day.
Pandas are facing a lot of problems. People build roads and houses in
bamboo forests. So, pandas lose their habitat. People cut down the trees to make
Chinese medicines. Hunters kill the pandas for fur and money. Also, there is a lot of
pollution such as noise pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and so on. People
cut down the bamboo so they have not enough food to eat.
Pandas are very lovely. We must do something to protect the pandas. We
should set up protection zones to save the cute pandas. We should punish people who
hunt the poor pandas. We should educate others about protecting the forests and
pandas. We should look for other ways to make land too. Furthermore, we should
plant trees with our family. We should not join the panda watch tour. We should not
throw rubbish into the rivers and forests either. I hope everyone can do these things
so pandas will not die.

The Treasure of China
Do you know why pandas are special? Pandas are the national treasure
of China. Pandas are mammals. They have a short tail and sharp claws. They belong
to the bear family. Their eye patches, ears, legs, muzzles and shoulders are black and
other parts of the body are white. They can weigh up to 150 kilograms. They can
grow up to 1.5 metres tall. Do you know what colour they are when they are born?
They are not black and white. They are pink. They have a little white fur too. Whey
they grow up, they have thick fur and they can live for about 20-30 years.
Pandas only live in a few places. They live in mountains and bamboo
forests in Shichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu of China. They love to live alone. Why do
they like living in mountains because they like cold weather. The thick fur can keep
them warm in winter. Also, there are a lot of bamboos there. They like eating. Some
of them live in zoos like Ocean Park in Hong Kong too. There are six pandas in
Ocean Park. Visitors like visiting them very much.
Pandas are omnivore. They eat different types of food. For meat, they
eat mice and fish. For plants, they eat bamboo shoots and leaves. They eat canes too.
Also, they eat fruit and vegetables. For example, they like eating oranges, apples and
carrots. Moreover, baby pandas drink milk like humans, dogs and elephants.
Furthermore, they eat the dead body of animals a long time ago.
Pandas are clever, they can do a lot of things. They can climb trees and
catch fish skilfully. They like playing with their friends happily. They like sleeping.
Sometimes they sleep on the ground. Sometimes, they sleep on the trees. Although
they always look sleepy, they can do a lot of things.
Pandas are facing a lot of problems. People catch pandas in a cruel way
and train them to make money. Also, people hunt them for skins and meat. Moreover,
people cut down the bamboo to make land and for farming. They also make a lot of
things like chopsticks, furniture, houses and toothpicks with bamboos to make
money.
To save the pandas, we should donate money to save the pandas. We
should make less air pollution too. Moreover, we should set up a team to look after
pandas. We shouldn’t buy panda furs. We shouldn’t catch pandas either.
‘Actions speak louder than words.’ Let’s do our best to save the pandas.
