Announcing New Similac Non-GMO* Options
Dear Health Care Professional,
We are excited to announce the new line of Similac, Non-GMO formula options which include Similac Advance,
Similac Sensitive, and Go &Grow. These products are an extension of the U.S. Similac portfolio to give parents
another formula choice for their baby.
The non-GMO options have the same ingredients as their comparable formula and are nutritionally the same; they
just have different sources for some of the ingredients. The FDA has stated that genetically engineered ingredients
used in food, including infant formula, are safe – so it’s purely consumer preference on which to choose.
We’re continually looking for ways to meet our consumers’ needs. In this case, some parents were interested in nonGMO options, and we wanted to make them available.
If you have additional questions, please refer to the FAQs attached or contact your Abbott Nutrition Sales
Representative or Abbott Nutrition Customer Service at 1-800-551-5838.
Thank you,
Abbott Nutrition, a division of Abbott Laboratories Inc.

Similac non-GMO products are only offered in limited distribution at this time and have not been added for
