1. INTRODUCTION
This manual covers the use of the Sociable application and is structured as follows: Section 2
following this introductory section presents the general approach of SOCIABLE and the process
for complete a session for a patient starting with the login of the patient and the medical expert,
followed by the choice of category and game in order to get to play the specified game. Section
3 presents the main categories and games of the SOCIABLE application and a detailed
description of each game including a photo and even a YouTube link where available.

2. GENERAL APPROACH OF SOCIABLE
In this section it will be described in a brief way the general approach of sociable, presenting the
different steps in order to complete a session for a patient.
1) In the first step, the patient needs to login in SOCIABLE. The patient will be chosen from the
drop down list in the left part pf the screen, as shown below. And after the password needs
to be inserted as well.
After the choice of the appropriate patient, the patient will appear in the right part of the screen
under the Participants title. If the choice of patient is correct, then the green button with the
arrow needs to be pressed, as shown below.

After pressing the button the following screen will appear and the Continue button needs to be
pressed.
In the second step, the medical expert needs to login in SOCIABLE. The medical expert will be
chosen with the same way as the patient, from the drop down list in the left part pf the screen,
as shown below. And after the password needs to be inserted as well.

After pressing the orange button the following screen will appear and the Continue button
needs to be pressed.

2) Now that patient and medical expert are successfully logged in SOCIABLE it needs to be
selected the category of games desired and after the specific game to start the session.
3) After the choice of the desired game the following screen with the levels of difficulty will
appear where the level of the patient needs to be chosen.

4) For every game there is available the choice of reading or even listening the instructions, as
shown below.
5) And now, after all the previous step are done, is the moment for Play. Below is shown one
example game.

6) After the successful completion of each game, its score will appear in a screen similar to the
following screen, with small variations depending on the metrics of each game.

try to eliminate candidates and correctly guess the mystery person chosen! Time matters, so be

illuminated in order to follow the melody heard.

MEMORY
FIND THE PAIRS
Find the pairs of matching images. Cards are randomly dealt with the picture side down. Flip
over any two cards by tapping on them. If the pictures on the cards are a match they will
disappear. If they are not a match they will be flipped back picture side down.

Hide your personal items in the room. To hide an object, drag and drop it wherever you would

REMEMBER THE DESIGN
You will be presented with a design created on a 9-dot grid. Look at it carefully and try to
memorize it. When the design disappears, try to reproduce it on the empty grid.

You will hear a melody. Then, you will be asked to replay it using the piano keyboard note by
note. You are allowed to make three mistakes only!

The photo album illustrates a large photo which is quickly replaced with another one. Try to
select the original photo among the smaller ones!

The pictures are positioned in the array each time in a different sequence. Try to remember the
pictures in their right sequence!

You have to help your nephew to do homework. On the screen will appear a pair of words or
figures. Your nephew has to figure out in what way these things are different. Help him by
choosing the answer with your finger that best describes the difference between the pair of
words/figures. Pay attention some other answer could be right but you have to choose the
answer that best describes the difference.

PICTURE SORT
When you moved in your friend’s house photo boxes opened, the box labels were gone and the
photos mixed up. Try to sort them out by putting photos in the correct photo box. Pay attention
your friend has shared the photos with a hidden rule. Drag photos that follow the rule in the
green box and photos that don’t follow the rule in the red box.

A train will start moving among several cities. You have to help the moving train to pass
through all the cities. To do this you have to complete every given piece of the train before the
train reaches it just by placing it or rotating it. In order to achieve the goal, you have to place
all pieces correctly.
