PRE-K CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
Pre-K will present their Christmas program on Tuesday, December 6 th at 6:30 PM.
ALPHA PLUS BENCHMARK TESTING 3RD – 5TH GRADES (UPDATED DATE)
Grades 3 – 5 will have their reading and math Alpha Plus benchmark tests on December 6 th, 7th, and 8th.
Please be sure your child is present on those days and has a good breakfast and adequate sleep.
SANTA SHOP
Flower Mound School will have a Santa Shop December 6 th – 9th. It will be open from 9:00 until
noon. We will have a variety of gifts for everyone on your Christmas list. All gifts are $2.00 and come
wrapped and ready to give. You can come to the school and take your child to shop or you can send
money and a list of who to purchase for and one of our helpful volunteers will be happy to assist.
CAMERON UNIVERSITY MEN’S BASKETBALL FREE CLINIC
The CU men’s basketball team is sponsoring a free clinic for kids in K-5 th grade on Saturday, December
10th from 10:30 AM – 12 PM. Check-in starts at 10 AM in the Aggie gym. #Backtheaxe CU Men's

CAMERON UNIVERSITY MEN’S BASKETBALL-COVER THE COURT FOR KIDS
The CU men’s basketball team is collecting toys for Lawton Toys for Tots at their game vs. Lubbock
Christian on Saturday, December 10th at 7:00 PM. Admission is free for bringing a toy for the donation
drive. After the Aggies score their first point, play will stop and fans are encouraged to toss their toys
onto the court. Stuffed animals are preferred, but other types of toys will be accepted and collected off

2ND AND 3RD CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
Grades 2 – 3 will present their Christmas program on Tuesday, December 13 th at 6:30 PM and dress
rehearsal will be the same day at 2:00 PM. Anyone who may be unable to attend the evening program is
invited to join us for the dress rehearsal.
DONATIONS FOR TEN OAKS AND THE VETERAN’S CENTER
The school is collecting items for the residents of Ten Oaks and the Veteran’s Center. The 5 th grade
students will deliver the items on Wednesday, December 14 th. Some suggestions for donated items
include chapstick, lotion, socks, gloves, books, treats, Sudokos, crossword puzzles, etc.
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16TH ACTIVITIES
This day is full of fun activities for our students. It is PAJAMA DAY and all students and staff wear their
finest bedtime apparel. It must be in our dress code. You can wear pajamas, robes, fuzzy slippers,
etc. Bring an extra pair of shoes in case it is wet outside. Students will enjoy HOT CHOCOLATE AND
COOKIES in the gym during STORY TIME. We will have Santa Claus on site to take PICTURES WITH
SANTA. At 2:15 we end our special day with CLASS PARTIES.
SCHOOL CLOSED
Flower Mound School will be closed for Winter Break Monday, December 19 st through Tuesday, January
3rd. Classes will resume on Wednesday, January 4 th. (Tuesday, January 3rd is a professional day for
Flower Mound Staff.) Enjoy your Holiday Season!!

LOST AND FOUND
We are accumulating quite a few jackets on our lost and found rack. Please put your child’s name in
each jacket so we may return them to your child. You may look through the rack at any time to retrieve
your things.
YEARBOOKS
Yearbook order forms have been sent out. This year we are offering a discount for ordering online at
www.inter-state.com/yearbook; use code 11119R. Orders are due by December 14 th. If purchasing

Don’t miss out on all of the great savings you can have with the Flower Mound Discount Card. They are
$10 each. You can buy a single one or check out a few to sell to your friends and family. There are 20
