Outlining Ron Kovic’s Transformation into a War Protestor
For this assignment, you want to consider which situations caused Ron Kovic to transform from
being someone who eagerly volunteered to fight in Vietnam into becoming an adamant war
protestor, someone who continues his protest to this day as he sees today’s generation being sent
off to fight in places like Iraq and Afghanistan for what he believes is a complete waste of human
life, potential, resources, money, etc.
Directions: Consider at least FIVE reasons for Kovic’s transformation into a war protester, and
