HISTORY OF AUNTIES
When sisters Donna Silva, with her passion for ice cream and family,
and Robin Green, with her lifelong attraction to Cape Cod and all things
nostalgic, decided to go into business together, Aunties was destined to be.
Owned and operated by Donna and Robin – and Robin’s husband, Dan, Aunties
sold its first ice cream cone on October 24th, 2012.
Located in the heart of downtown Dennis Port, a visit to Aunties
will take you back to a simpler time when locals ran into each other at the town
malt shop and chatted over an ice cream soda or a hot fudge sundae. We love
watching new memories being created, too, for a younger generation. It’s these
little ones that keep bringing their families back again and again because there’s
something special in the atmosphere at Aunties. And during the busy tourist
season, we enjoy being a fun and informative destination stop for those visiting or
passing through our charming little village.
