OUR MEMORY Donald R. Fox Isn’t our memory wonderful? When I was a young boy in “Grammar School” in the early 1940s, our teacher had us students read and memorize the poem “Trees." I literally did not think about this short poem for years. On a five hour-plus automobile drive to visit our granddaughter with my wife, a common human event happened. As I commented on the beauty of the trees in northern Tennessee, at that moment, I remembered the poem “Trees” and quoted it to my wife, word-for-word. It took an hour later to remember the author of “Trees” Joyce Kilmer. I wonder how the believer of evolution would explain how our brain was so marvelously wired. What process made the brain and our human body functions in such an extraordinary manner? The evidence is manifold, that the creation of the earth, and all living beings by way of evolution is impossible. “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.” (Ps. 14:1 KJV) “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” (Ps. 139:14 KJV) For additional study see: http://essaysbyfox.org/html/essays/EVOLUTION%20AND%20THE%20CHANGING%20 OF%20BELIEFS.doc
