Description of the Task
 You have just been offered the opportunity to attend the Australian Institute of Sport as a biomechanics
expert, specialising in the use of technology.
 The AIS has asked you to submit a sample of video analysis as part of the interview process. This analysis
is to be your performance of a sporting movement compared to that of an elite athlete.
PART A: VIDEO SECTION
 You will need to video yourself performing a sporting movement of your choice. Then find a video of an
elite athlete performing the same movement in the same sport.
 Both of these clips must be submitted on the due date so your teacher can view them.
PART B: WRITTEN SECTION

You must address the following questions as part of your analysis:
1. Identify five key skills in performing your chosen sporting movement (50 words max)
2. Describe your performance of your chosen sporting movement from your footage. Include
reference to the five key skills from Question 1. (150 words max)
3. Describe how your video footage compares to that of an elite athlete in your chosen sport (200
words max)
