, 2013-2014 GO JO level 1 – 4 Summary Charts The Women’s Ontario Competitive Program will be restructured beginning Sept 1, 2013. To help provide a smooth transition into the 2013-2014 season, we have provided you with a head start by providing the routine charts for level 1 – 4. The new GO JO levels 1 – 4 have been created with a few modifications to the new USA JO program as follows: • JO Compulsory routines level 1 – 4 have been replaced by GO JO levels 1 – 4 that consist of compulsory elements and sequences (with choice) with optional choreography. Scoring will remain very similar to and as described in the JO level 1 – 4 code. This includes the concept of weighted value parts which replaces compositional requirements and value parts. The GO JO levels 1 – 4 were created with direct reference and thought to the JO levels 1 – 4 and OCP 2 – 4 such that flow and fundamental skill choices stay consistent. A few other items to note: • • • • • • • • The current WAG mandatory mobility rules will be exempt for the 2013-2014 season thus coaches will be able to place athletes into any of the new categories by simply matching the athlete skill level to the appropriate level routine requirements. For ease and clarity, it is best not to compare the current OCP requirements with the new levels...just start fresh! Judging requirements and meet specifications remain the same as in the old OCP 2012-2013 Min Age requirements remain the same as in the old OCP 2012-2013 7 and 8 yr old scoring concepts (score ranges Gold, Silver, Bronze, merit) will remain as in the old OCP 20122013 however scores will be modified to reflect scoring out of 10. Note some slight modifications to warm up times and routine length from OCP 2012-2013 for level 1-4. The WVP parts are listed in the order in which they appear in the new JO compulsory routines as taken from the document posted on the USA website with added optional choice elements placed accordingly. Value parts in red are additional elements or changes from the JO compulsory script. Value parts in black are the same as the JO compulsory script. Special note: GO JO level 1 – 4 will slightly modify the USA JO WVP of certain skills in order to maintain consistent total WVP per event.
