To France!
Blue Ridge Bible Church
Advancing the Gospel in France . . .
. . . through Greenhouse Normandy Ministry Center.
Each year, the Center endures several months of heavy use with spring and summer
programs. Our Fall Service-Team will help repair, restore, and improve the facilities,
making the Center as functional and appealing as possible for the next season of ministry
activities.
Nearly all types of skills are needed on a team, with opportunities for . . .
* cheerful workers who can paint, deep-clean, do yardwork, etc.
* specific tradecraft skills (construction, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, etc.)
* other professional skills (office, IT, media, software expertise, etc.)
* you!
But there’s more! Through “Culture Moments,” excursions, and dessert
conversations, Greenhouse staff will increase our understanding of the history and
culture of France — and of the great spiritual opportunities that exist there today.

Program and Support Details
Daily Life
The Service-Team lives and works at the Center, located 2½ hours
from Paris on the Normandy coast. Accommodations are fairly basic, with
4 bedrooms on each of 2 floors and two bathrooms on each floor.
Greenhouse Normandy’s Director Stephen Darling and the staff provide
for meals and the daily needs of the Service-Team.
Education
During several dessert and coffee times, team members have a chance to gain indepth background information on France and the spiritual needs and opportunities
that exist in this beautiful country.
Service Projects - 3 broad areas of possibility
Refurbishing: Nearly all Service-Teams help restore and
improve spaces in the Center through deep cleaning, painting
prep, landscaping, etc. Heavy use degrades the facilities
significantly, so these refurbishing projects strengthen the
impact and effectiveness of the Center’s programs in people’s
lives.
Tradecraft: Significant repairs and improvements become
possible any time specific trade experience is available on a team,
including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and more.
Other Skills: Beyond facility projects, many other professional skills can often be
of immense value in strengthening Greenhouse’s mission – let’s talk and explore the
possibilities!
SPECIAL PRIORITY 2014 - 2016: God has recently provided a small office
suite next to the Center. Over time we are converting this office into badly needed
staff housing. Depending on progress of contracted work, Service-Team skills will be
needed for many aspects of this project.
