Joe Van Dover
Senior Swimmer
The Milbank Area Lions Swim Team is honored to
dedicate this meet to our only senior swimmer Joseph Van
Dover. Joe started swimming on our team in 2003 and has
always enjoyed the fellowship with team members and the
opportunity to grow, learn, and develop his skills as a
swimmer. Joe is an excellent role model for our younger
swimmers as well as his four younger siblings, who are also all
members of MALST! Over the past nine years Joe has
received several awards including Most Improved, Hardest
Worker, Swimmer’s Choice Award, and 2nd, 3rd , and 4th place
at state.
One of Joe’s favorite memories was last summer at the
state swim meet when his relay team set 3 new state records!
Joe plans on attending St. John Vianney Seminary on the
campus of St. Thomas University in St. Paul, Minnesota this
fall. We are all very proud of you and your dedication and
commitment to MALST.
