Using the Banquet Menu
Parties of 12 or Less
Your party may order directly from our a la carte menu. Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. until
10:30 a.m., Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., and Dinner is served from 5:30 p.m.
until 9:00 p.m. You may also choose a set menu or customize a menu to fit your needs.
Parties of 13 or More
Our kitchen is restricted by size and is not equipped to handle a la carte orders of this size.
Limited menus are available for groups of 13 to 20; arrangements should be made at least 10 days
prior to their event. S.C.C. has established this policy in order to maintain our high standards of
quality and service.
Business Meetings
Sylvania Country Club offers breakfasts, luncheons, afternoon snack breaks, and dinners designed
to meet your group’s needs. Audio/visual equipment, telephone conferencing, and wireless
internet service are available, some charges may be applicable. Should you choose to provide
your own audio/visual equipment, it may be set up one hour prior to your function and
disassembled immediately following.
Banquets
When hosting a private banquet, one entrée is to be selected for all guests. If a guest in your
party has special dietary restrictions, please let us know as soon as possible, our Chef will be glad
to prepare a menu to meet those special needs.
Should you find it necessary to offer your guests a choice between two entrées there are some
additional steps of which you need to be aware. When selecting the menu only the entrée
should be varied, side dishes should be the same. There will be an additional charge of $3.00 per
entrée if more than one selection is to be served. Please have your guests indicate their entrée
preference when they RSVP. We will need a guaranteed number on each entrée three (3)
business days prior to your event. And finally, each place setting will need to be marked as to
which entrée is to be served. If this presents a problem, we have some suggestions that may help.
The Club does not provide entertainment or floral services, however we will be happy to assist and
advise if needed. Weddings scheduled on Friday evenings will not have access to the Lounge or
piano. A separate bar can be set up in the Main Dining Room to accommodate any beverage
service. Any private function meal served after 2:00 p.m. must be selected from the dinner
menu.
Evening functions are to conclude by Midnight with the building vacated by guests and vendors
by 1:00 a.m. Additional time will incur a fee of $250.00 per hour.

Club Policies
In compliance with the state of Ohio’s liquor laws and Lucas County Health Department
regulations, alcoholic beverages and food items (with the exception of wedding cakes) are
not permitted to be brought into, or taken from the club.
We gladly coordinate the delivery and pick up of any rental or florist equipment but accept
no liability. We ask that no confetti be used in decorating. All candles must be in a
container or a globe.
Prices quoted do not include tax or gratuity, unless other wise stated, and are subject to
change prior to final contract signing.
No one under the age of 21, or who cannot provide a photo ID, will be served alcoholic
beverages.
Manned food and carving stations may incur an additional fee.
As a private club, SCC does require member sponsorship of any non-member event. In the
event that you do not know an SCC member we will be happy to assist you in finding a
sponsor.

 The Main Dining Room must have a guarantee of a minimum of 50 people for Friday and

 There are no room rental fees for a member booking. A member responsible for
payment is not charged a room rental fee for the Main Dining Room at any time. A
member sponsoring an event (non-member use) that another individual, organization or
company is responsible for payment, will be charged a $750.00 room rental fee for use
on Saturday only.
