SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
• Kids’ Camp!® Tie-Dye Party Packs: Warm, Cool
• Kid’s white cotton T-shirt
• Plastic tablecloth
• Washer & dryer
• Rubber bands
DIRECTIONS: For best results, read all instructions before beginning project. Refer to photo.
1. Prewash shirt to remove sizing; do not use fabric softener.
2. Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth and lay damp shirt flat on surface.

3. Starting at bottom left corner of shirt, wrap a rubber band around corner 2" in from edge. Move down another 2"
and wrap another rubber band around fabric. Repeat until entire shirt is wrapped with rubber bands.
4. Wearing gloves from kit, add water to red dye bottle from the Warm pack; purple and blue dye bottles from the Cool
pack. Replace caps and shake thoroughly to mix.
5. Squeeze purple onto the first section, blue onto the second and red onto the third. Repeat pattern until each section
has color.
6. Cover shirt with plastic tablecloth and let set for 6 to 8 hours or longer to achieve the most intense colors.

7. Rinse thoroughly in warm running water until runoff is clear. Remove rubber bands. Wash separately in a large load
of hottest water suitable for T-shirt fabric and a small amount of laundry soap. Dry separately.
