April 4-6, 2008: The Fountain Brothers American Legion Post
#1619 at 219 Rand Hill Road in West Plattsburgh, New York
hosted the 6th Annual Bobby Pugh Memorial tournament on April
4-6, 2008. Fun was had by all.
Many thanks to our long-time Budweiser sponsor, Kevin Rotz.
Also thanks to the AML Post #1619 and staff for their continuous
support of and encouragement for hosting the shuffleboard tournaments. Thanks to Ann Primard for the great photos and Judy Cobb
and Penny Everest for keeping track of brackets and sponsor sales , and
to Pat Brennan (auctioneer) and to Irene Rock for the good food and to
the many others who helped ... too many to list. A special thanks also
to my long-time friend and mentor, Pauline Rock.
We had a surprise showing of five players from Sherburne, New
York and hope to see them again. Congratulations to all the winners
and many thanks to all the players who participated!
We hope to see everyone at the American Legion Post #1619 again
for the memorial day weekend North East Regional Championship
tournament on May 23-25, 2008 and at the 10th Annual Labor Day
Weekend tournament on August 29-31, 2008. Both of these tournaments have flyers posted on the TSA website's "2008 Upcoming Events
