POSTELLERS SEASIDE WEEKEND IN KENT
We will be staying at YHA Canterbury and
spending much of the weekend near or by the
sea. We are going to the beaches near Dover,
visit Dover Castle as well as exploring
Canterbury and going round the city walls. The
hostel has just been refurbishes so we are in
for a comfortable stay

Here’s a card from Dom who has recently come back from a
great trekking trip in Nepal. (Cumbria Way walkers watch
out for a super-fit leader! This is what he says,
“ Dear Postellers
,
I just slidon my bottom over the snow from the
Thorung-la Pass in the Mustang valley – just like we slid
down Kinder Scout into Edale!
Mustang is spectacular, absolutely stunning although
probably the windiest place I’ve ever been.

In November Postellers celebrate 45 years. There will
be a special Bonfire Party at YHA Tanners Hatch (16th –
17th November) The following weekend (23rd – 24th
November) exPostellers, leaders and supporters are

It goes from Ulverston in the South Lakes to
Carlisle in the North (72 miles) through mountains
and valleys, by lakes and rivers. We will be walking
10 – 12 miles a day and staying at 6 Youth Hostels

meals (including a special meal out to celebrate the end) and
return travel from London. £50.00 deposit makes sure of a
