Subcommittee Activity Updates
 Winter Workshop recap – Kathy
o Group talked about the workshop and how things went; decided it
might be helpful to have a checklist to work from, to make sure all
logistics are in place, like sound system, introducing the speaker, etc
 Jackson Conference – Kathy
o Registration is going well! Some sessions are full already
o Booth – Kim T and Cheryl will co-man the table for JEYC; Cheryl
asked about the JEYC brochure – Kathy will forward to her and
Cheryl and/or Kathy will make some copies to have available at our
table
o Kathy will check with Mary DeLuca and Erika at Jesus Loves Me to
see if our revised brochure can be found
o Have Spring Luncheon fliers available at our table!
 Cooks for Books – Cheryl, Kim T, Mariann
o March 22nd, 11:30am-1pm @ First Methodist Church across from the
library - doing the book “Charlie the Ranch Dog” and making lasagna
o JEYC is officially registered to participate!
o Kathy told the ladies to keep their receipts if they’d like to be
reimbursed by JEYC
 Spring Luncheon - Lori, Sue, Andrea
o May 17th @ 11am-1pm @ Darryls (now called One Five One) - Jim
Sinnamon, Licensing updates - $15 (just covers the cost of food; no
profit made from this)
