Tú commands/Affirmative tú commands 1. Formation: use the 3rd person singular (he/she) form of the present tense. Negative “tú” commands 1. Formation: Start with “no” and use the “tú” form of the subjunctive. To form subjunctive: A) start off with the “yo” form of the present tense, B) drop the “-o”, C) use the opposite vowel of the infinitive plus an “s”. Reflexive Verbs: For positive (+) commands, add/attach the reflexive pronoun “te” AND use an accent mark counting 2 vowels back from the command form -ar → e + s -er/-ir → a + s 2.
