If you do not have an associate’s degree, contact Montgomery County Community College’s Admissions Office at 610-718-1850. If you have an associate’s degree, contact The University Center partner who offers the bachelor’s degree in which you have an interest. If you already have a bachelor’s degree, contact The University Center partner offering the master’s degree you would like to obtain. What degrees are offered? Whose degrees are awarded? What is the tuition and fees? Each University Center partner offers its own degrees and charges its own tuition and fees. See the reverse side of this sheet or visit Montgomery County Community College’s webpage (mc3.edu/academics/university-center.aspx) for detailed information about which University Center partners are offering which degrees and programs, and each partners’ contact information. What are the admissions requirements for the bachelor’s and master’s degrees? Each University Center partner determines its own admissions requirements. For example, to enroll in Temple’s MSE, you must have a bachelor’s degree in education. For more information, contact each University Center partner directly. How long do the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs take to complete? That depends on whether you already have an associate’s degree and the curriculum sequence offered by The University Center partner. For those without an associate’s degree, the full program including an associate’s degree and bachelor’s degree will take 4-5 years of full time study. For those with an associate’s degree, contact each University Center partner directly. When do the programs begin? Montgomery County Community College’s associate degree programs begin in September, January. and several times throughout the summer. Apply as far in advance as possible. Each partner determines when they will accept new students. Contact each University Center partner for more information. Where are the courses offered, and can students take courses at the partners’ main campus or other of their sites? The University Center is at Montgomery County Community College’s West Campus in Pottstown. You may be able to take courses at different sites, depending on the courses and programs each partner offers at its main campus and at any of its other sites. Contact each University Center partner for additional information. How are the courses offered? Each partner’s courses are structured differently so contact each University Center partner for detailed information. Montgomery County Community College offers daytime, evening and on-line courses, and has recently introduced accelerated “hybrid” courses, meeting one night each week for 8 weeks. Montgomery County Community College’s Associate’s Degrees, including its convenient and flexible Liberal Studies degree, articulates seamlessly with The University Center partners’ bachelor’s degrees. Is financial aid available? That depends on your specific situation. If students do not have an associate’s degree, they should contact Montgomery County Community College’s Financial Aid Office at 215-641-6566.
