For over 60 years, since its establishment in 1955, Storybook Land has been keeping the
spirit of childhood alive in an entertaining and educational atmosphere. We invite you to
relive your childhood while introducing the innocent themes of wonderment to an entire new
generation. Your children’s – and grandchildren’s – memories will be with them throughout
their lifetimes!
Safety First: It is important that parents, guardians,
and/or chaperones understand all park rules and

Companion: Someone of the posted height who can accompany another rider who is under the posted height
and can ensure that the smaller rider complies with safety rules.
Minimum: All riders must be at least this tall, even if accompanied by a companion.
Storybook Land rides are family rides and are suitable for children and adults. All rides have height restrictions and/or
limitations. Be sure to check posted height and safety restrictions at each attraction. Ride and attraction requirements
are determined by ride dynamics, the restraint system used, recommendations made by the manufacturer, and by the
State of New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. Ride information and restrictions are posted at each location.
Please supervise children at all times. Ride guidelines and height requirement are subject to change without notice.
The New Jersey State Ride Safety Act requires Storybook Land to post same and laws are strictly enforced. Some

at all times (except in the Storybook Seaport.) No bathing suits on rides. Guests are required to change into dry
clothes after visiting the Storybook Seaport.
Unlimited Ride Advisory
Storybook Land is happy to offer Unlimited Rides with the pay-one-price Park Admission. If a guest wishes to experience
a ride consecutively, please show courtesy for other guests in queue by exiting the ride and re-entering. If no guests
are in queue, riders may remain on the ride. However, please be advised that continuous, repetitive riding, with no
breaks in between, may not be in a guest’s best health interest. Storybook Land suggests that all riders take a 10
minute break after experiencing a ride three (3) consecutive times. It is the responsibility of the park guest to read and
obey all posted warnings at each ride, and to cooperate with Storybook Land Ride Personnel and Management to ensure
‘Safe Fun’ for all guests. As always, the responsibility of supervising children (those under the age of 18 years)
both on and off rides lies within the parent, guardian, or chaperone. Please supervise children at all times.
The proper protocol for measuring height is as follows:
-Stand straight, with feet flat, heels and back against the measuring board
-Keep head straight, chin down
-Measure to the top of the head, not hair
-Top of the head must be touching proper height on the measuring board and/or height stick
-All measurements are non-negotiable
-Patrons wearing shoes with soles higher than 3 inches must remove shoes when being measured
Please understand that height restrictions are in place due to the requirements and recommendations by the
Ride Manufacturer and the New Jersey State Department of Community Affairs.
