The LINK-O-LOON® chain is perhaps the most
simple of all LINK-O-LOON® designs. When heliumfilled, it makes a column; when air-filled, it can be
suspended from the ceiling to create a chain. This
recipe will lead you through steps for making a wall
or backdrop with air from a series of chains that are
joined and designed to hang from the ceiling with
Clik-Clik MagMover™ magnets. Easy!

1. Air fill two 5" (12cm) white latex and tie the necks together to make a duplet. Create 12 duplets and
set aside.
2. Air fill chains of 12" LINK-O-LOON® as follows and add a duplet of 5" white latex to each end of
every chain:
• two Crystal Red Streamers chains of four sized to 11" (28cm)
• two Crystal Yellow Streamers chains of four sized to 11" (28cm)
• two Crystal Blue Streamers chains of four sized to 11" (28cm)
• five chains of five with sized to 11" (28cm) colors in this order: Orange, Green, Violet, Green, Orange
3. Join the 5" (12cm) duplet at the end of a Red chain of four to the duplet at the end of the assorted
color chain. Add each of the assorted chains in the same color placement onto the Red chain, wrapping the duplet around the knots of the Red chain.
4. Add a Yellow chain of four by wrapping the duplet at the one end between the Orange and Green
LINK-O-LOON®. Continue securing the Yellow chain in place by wrapping a duplet to the two chains,
with one in front and one in back to hold the wall flat. At the end, wrap the final Yellow chain duplet
to the joined Orange and Green assorted chain.
5. Continue to add the solid color chains to the assorted chains in the same technique making sure
colors are aligned as shown. When complete, adjust the duplets if needed to make the wall lie flat
and smooth. It can now be suspended from the ceiling with Clik-Clik MagMover™ and Clik Magnets
or placed and secured against a wall.
CONCLUSION
This design can be created in prints, solid colors, contrasting colors or,
as shown in this design, with color variations that flow like a rainbow
from one to another.
