Packaging as per Progressive requirements. Country of Origin must be identified. Labelling to identify grower or agents
name/brand (plus growers name/code if via an agent), address, contents, grade/class, size and minimum net weight.
Prepacked product to identify a “Packed On” date on outer container and retail unit unless it is in a package that obscures
the nature or quality of the food. If the nature or quality of the food is obscured then a ‘best before’ date with maximum 10
days from harvest is required.
TRANSPORT &
RECEIVAL
CONDITIONS
Stacked to Ti Hi specifications onto a stabilised pallet that has been wrapped or strapped as per policy. Refrigerated
van or truck with air bag suspension, unless otherwise approved. Pulp Temperature 4 – 10°C during transport from the
farm/orchard and at receipt into Countdown Produce DC. Must be received within 3 days of packing.

RESIDUES
Imported and domestically produced food sold in New Zealand must comply with the New Zealand (MRL) Food
Standard. The standard recognises the Tans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement for food imported from Australia
and the role of Codex standard for imported foods in general. Complies with FSANZ Standard 1.4.1 and Schedule 19
– Maximum levels of contaminants and natural toxicants.
CONSIGNMENT CRITERIA
Specifications reviewable: eg. to account for specific regional effects or adverse seasonal impacts on quality or early or late seasonal
variances as agreed with each state operation and communicated formally in writing by Progressive.
