CHILDREN IN NEED FUND RAISING!
Dear Parents
As I am sure you are aware, Friday 18th November brings this year’s ‘Children in
Need’ appeal. Our School Council usually plan a range of activities and this year is
no exception:
On Friday 18th November we are going SPOTACULAR! We would like to invite the
children to come to school in mufti, but with something spotty if possible. We
would like to suggest a contribution of £1.
On Wednesday 16th, there will be a Spot-put Competition. This will also be our
first inter-House competition. The spot-put tournament will take place in year
groups and in Houses for the juniors. House points and special Pudsey badges and
certificates will be awarded to the boy and girl winner in each year group. School
Council have suggested an entry fee of 20p for a throw or 50p for three throws.
Also on Wednesday 16th we will also have a table set up where children can create
some Spotty Art: 20p for a spot, which children can decorate in any way they
wish. We will create a giant spot mural with all the decorated spots. If we have
enough spots we may even spell the word SPOTACULAR!
All money goes to Children In Need.
