IMOswiss AG is accredited as a control body by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) to
certify products according to the US organic regulations, the National Organic Program (NOP).
As required by this accreditation we must verify that all substances used by our clients in the
production and processing of organic products comply with the NOP, 7 CFR Part 205.
Material Review:
In order for IMOswiss AG to review the compliance of a material/substance used in our client’s
production/processing units to the USDA/NOP regulations, we require complete information on
all ingredients used in the manufacturing of the product and contained in the product and for
the manufacturing process of the product.
Kindly complete the attached form and provide the requested documentation to IMOswiss AG.
If the result of the product review is in line with the regulatory requirements of the NOP, the
approval will be valid for three (3) years provided that the product formulation does not
change. If the attached form and relevant supplementary information is not provided to
IMOswiss AG to sufficiently determine if the product is compliant we will have to inform our
client that it is not approved and may not be used in their production/processing of organic
products.
Promotion and Advertising:
We highly appreciate your willingness to complete this form and provide documentation to
enable IMOswiss AG to review the product. The decision to approve or deny a substance is
communicated to our client requesting to use the substance. IMOswiss AG does not endorse
the reviewed substances and does not allow manufacturers or distributors to use the
IMOswiss AG name or seal on the labels or other forms of advertisement of a reviewed
product.

Confidentiality:
Please be assured that we strictly respect the confidentiality of proprietary information
provided to us and do not disclose confidential information to our clients or any other
interested party. Only the US Department of Agriculture as our accreditation body is allowed to
request access to this information for review and copying. On request, IMOswiss AG is willing
to sign a confidentiality agreement or will provide an IMOswiss AG Non-Disclosure
Agreement.
